Wow, Christopher Robin's finally gotten a costume change (well, besides his winter wear) as seen in that Yahoo promo pic.

Why? This is a sequel to the 1977 film, not a remake, and it's only a reboot in the sense that it ignores all of the sequels and spin-offs that come since the original (though Pooh canon is flexible enough for any of those films and shows to fit in if need be). Both the 1977 and 2011 films cover different stories from the original two A.A. Milne books, so if you put them together, you have the majority of those books adapted by Disney.
I did this earlier in this thread, but I'll revisit it here now that we've gotten a bit of story confirmation. These are the chapters from both Winnie the Pooh and The House at Pooh Corner. Everything in red was adapted in 1977's Many Adventures while everything in blue is likely to be in 2011's Further Adventures. Green indicates the "Day for Eeyore" short which isn't part of either film but can be considered an unofficial bridge between the two films.

Reports are saying that Further Adventures is adapting five chapters, so I believe the two chapters that deal with Piglet and the Heffalump will be combined (or the second occurrence will be removed completely), with the Heffalump replaced with a Backson so as not to cause confusion with the Heffalumps seen in other films.
I don't see them covering the North Pole Expotition, Kanga and Roo's intro, or Pooh Corner since those were done as flashbacks in Piglet's Big Movie. Disney may be tossing that film out the window, but I can understand them not wanting to re-adapt those stories for fear of confusing and/or alienating fans. Besides, since this is a sequel, it wouldn't make sense to include the Kanga and Roo intro, anyway, since we already know them.
