Didn't want to be the one to bump it up, but now that lord-of-sith did, I can reply!

Before, I had an image siggy of Rebecca Budig, known to no one unless they're a soap opera fan. In the soap world, she was Michelle Bauer Santos on Guiding Light from 1995-1998, then Greenlee Smythe duPres Lavery on All My Children from 1999-2005.

It's been this siggy for awhile now, as I haven't found a worthy replacement for my Alan-dominated WTF, but it's a nice little message:

FRIENDS DON'T LET FRIENDS BUY FULLSCREEN!

Also, the link about the dumpster just goes to my dvdaficionado list...

I am a huge fan of CSI and while I enjoy Law & Order (L&O) and the other crime shows, CSI (all) is my favorite.

Thus my siggy.....

Woohoo! I discovered a new Quote series for me to do! It keeps the theme of WTF, in that I find UD member quotes that I deem worthy of my siggy...

New Quote Series: Wish I Said That!

In this series, if I see anything a UD member says that's really hilarious, snarky, sarcastic, etc. and it makes me think, "Wish I said that!", I"ll put it in my siggy. It's more prestigious to have your words be given an Escapay-chose WIST as opposed to an Escapay-chosen WTF!

WIST #1:
T/P Fan: Ok first, you completely miss my point, then you go totally off-topic? Are you becoming the new Alan?

And whaddaya know, Alan somehow manages to be in the first quote in this series as well!

So be careful what you say, UDers. You never know when you'll be WIST-ed by Escapay! :P :P :P

My signature comes in multiple parts.

Part the First, In Which Loomis Gets the Oats

Loomis describes, in brief, the DVD website that he writes for. The site features a circular shiny storage device called a Digital Video Disc or Digital Versatile Disc - DVD for short. Loomis participates in the website content by reviewing said 'DVDs', promoting forthcoming discs through the posting of press releases and news stories and generally being a prolific conveyor of information. Each month, he is rewarded with a bag full of oats for his trouble.

Part the Second, Where Loomis Plans to Travel Abroad

Loomis, although residing in the fair country of Australia, is not always content to languish in his island paradise. Having tasted the wonders of the United States of America, and its Californian Theme Parks and Las Vegan Dens of Gambling, Loomis has decided to travel with his companion to the mysterious East and Hong Kong. Along with collecting exotic spices and various teas, Loomis will study the botanical properties of the Kowloon, Hong Kong Island and Macau regions, before journeying to the forboding island of Lantau. Lantau is known to many as the home of a monastery and giant statue of Lord Buddha, although it has recently seen a hive of activity in the Discovery Bay area. Screams of joy and terror have been heard from over the mountains, giving rise to the belief that the United Statesians have constructed some kind of experimental facility to test the endurance of the locals. Although dubbed 'Disneyland Hong Kong' in the various reports coming from the region, Loomis is keen to investigate this phenomenon for himself. The counter below, subtle and disguised as a train, indicates the timetable on which Loomis must work.

Loomis takes a daily 8% solution of tea.

My signature is a quotation from Homer (The Simpsons). This happens when he thinks that Earl could be his soul mate. When he got up to the top of the lighthouse, he discovers that EARL is a machine. His statement was funny, so I put it there.

Currently my siggy is a song lyric from one of my favorite songs, My Stupid Mouth by John Mayer. The other quote is from the best film in wide release right now-V FOR VENDETTA. This is the best film you're not seeing, America!!!

Well...Mine if from the novel "Bambi" by Felix Salten. It is the the climax of the book in which Bambi learns that man is not god, or the power of life or death over all of them. It is a very, very powerful moment in the book, one I doubt would of worked well in the film, but in the novel it is amazing and makes you think for a moment.
"There is another who is over us all, over us and over man"

Well, it looks like T/P fan is in another WIST!

WIST #1:
T/P Fan: Ok first, you completely miss my point, then you go totally off-topic? Are you becoming the new Alan?

WIST #2:
T/P Fan: I'm never wrong (except for a very few times on Wednesdays and nights I get less than 7 hours of sleep).

Also, WTF is back! Woohoo! I found a WTF-worthy quote after all! But WIST is too good to drop suddenly, so I'll keep both around so long as I can get good quotes from people (and a reminder again, don't solicit quotes to me via PM, e-mail, or on the forums. I'd rather look for it myself without being directed to it by a UDer)

First, for nostalgia, the original 9 WTF quotes:

WTF Quote #1:
Alan: (about me flying from Florida to FT. Worth to get BATB) Well, you can always fly down to Ft. Worth stay overnight in a hotel and get it yourself.

WTF Quote #2:
Teede: (kisses [Snow White Sequel] and it wakes up) There. How's that?

WTF Quote #3:
Alan: Its very sad to know that ********** dies.
DisneyFan 2000: I hate you.

WTF Quote #4:
Teede: Hello? Can anyone responding me?

WTF Quote #5: (note, I'd like to retract this quote, if possible, but then my numbers will be screwed up)
Lazario: I actually know what you said. A whole lot of nothing.

WTF Quote #6:
Princess Jasmine: I hate it when nobody replies to my posts so therefore I decided to give you some company.

WTF Quote #7:
Alan:Have never heard of Peter Jennings before, so I don't really care.
Luke: Wow. Thank you sooooooo much for sharing!

WTF Quote #8:
Alan: I just find it sad that whenever I make a thread about Ben-Hur coming out on four disc DVD, only like 3 people reply.

WTF Quote #9:
Alan: But homework is fun!!! :)

And, the next quote in this prestigious line of things UDers say that make me think, WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT??...

WTF #10:
Prince Eric: You're wrong so much that I'll go ahead and just say you're right.

Ahh, it's so refreshing to have a series in my siggy again. Even more refreshing to have two series's in my siggy. WIST, the one that would make a UDer proud, and WTF, the one that would make a UD laugh...

The sad thing is, in order to fit two series's in my siggy, I had to sacrifice my DVD link...as if anyone actually clicks on it anyway...

My signature is a combo of three things:

1)A quote from my ALL-TIME favorite movie, Peter Pan! I wish Never Land was real!

2)A quote by Merlin from The Sword In The Stone, which I find hilarious (the quote, not the movie...although that's great too lol)!!

3)A slogan that I made up for myself based on a spell from Harry Potter. It's also on my AIM profile.
:pan: Love It.

Wow Escapay.

When writing those quotes, I knew they might get a couple chuckles, but I didn't know they'd start a new series!

Anyway, if you listen to Disney Podcasts, you'd know what my signature is.

All right, I just made a signature, and no, it's not from a certain Studio Ghibli movie...it's a verse from "The Canada Song", from one of my very favorite TV shows: the late, great Mystery Science Theater 3000 8)

Amen, brother.

The strange thing is, after toiling in obscurity for years, I suddenly find myself the subject of several signatures (Escapay's and T/P fan's) this week.

Thanks folks!

Mine is based on the simple equation that results in No Pants being fun.

That is my gift to the board. A Pantless Loomis. Do with it what you will.

Why oh why wasn't I in chat when that gem came up?????? That's priceless!!!

Well, since it was pimped out to me, it's tainted, but I'll make it an honorary WIST AND WTF, thus, a WIST/WTF #1, where it follows both requirements. It won't go in the siggy, just in the message here...
