No,but I"m sure and I"ll tell you:
The PE will be back to the Vault with Ariel's Beginning and Little Mermaid II in January, like the Cinderella PE,Cinderella II and Cinderella III and since Cinderella II came in December then I"m sure that Little Mermaid II will be out in December as well.

Hmm... I hope you're right, I want the DVD...

On the rerelease of Cinderella 2, were there any other special features? Or was it just the same thing, with a different cover?

Makes sense, but I personally don't trust Disney when it comes to patterns like that - their release schedules are often annoyingly unpredictable...

I think they added a game or 2,not something like deleted scenes.
Well,I think it's one of the worst sequels but still,I"m glad they release it.

.
Yeah, they can always come up with some unexpecded (Like the Nightmare Before Christmas DVD and Blu-Ray,I didn't see that coming! still, they released the 3-D versions in the fall so it makes sense).

NEW ONE........................................................................................................OLD ONE
Here are the 2 covers next to each other

I think Ariel looks better, and MDR wears the right clothes!
And the tagline also changed!

I dont like the re-drawn Flounder, he doesn't look like himself!

Wow, it's like Disney's been listening in on what we've been saying, I recall hearing someone saying how it'd be awesome if they used Every tale rather than Every story. Also, Ariel is WAY more on-model, something else a lot of us were complaining about.

Almost everything was changed a t least slightly, the thing that got my attention was the visibility of Ariel's tail in the background. I'm kinda on the fence about Flounder, since I know it's a prequel and he probably got bigger & more "ruffled" between this and the original film... hmm.

Also, I'm thinking this is the final cover art. The text is more centered inward, everything is more embossed, and it mentions FastPlay and the Movie Rewards. I don't mind that this is the last one- the main thing is that Ariel should look decent, and she looks great. Thanks for sharing, Old Fish Tale, and for the comparison, supertalies! :D

ehh, the changes are all good and all (though some seemed unnecessary) but I still MUCH prefer the older, older cover/promo-thingy. Does anyone have a good quality copy of that one? With the music-box thing at the bottom of the cover...

Ariel's face is mostly on-model, they just need to change her nose. Honestly, the only thing that looked better on the original cover was Flounder.

Well, the newer cover does look better overall, but I was satisfied with the other one as well. The only thing about the newer cover is that the background has become more green than blue and is much less "mysterious." Still, Triton is leaps above what he did look like. Both Ariel and Marina look better, but looked fine in the old cover. I think Flounder only looks weird because his "spike" isn't quite right; his face kind of looks like The Brave Little Toaster.

Listening to most often lately:

The new cover's definatley better. I agree that Flounder looks better on the old one, but I also like the one sister (don't know exact name, but has the statue-of-liberty crown) better on the old one.

Triton and Ariel are waaaaaay better and Marina is fine either way (looks more like Ursula in the new one).

Only Flounder was better in the original cover.

Anyone notice that flounder has 3 stripes in the new cover instead of four!

Yeah, they listened to me, ........every tale........ not every story! :D

Looks overall good from where I'm standing, must say Triton is smaller and looks entirely different then before (in a good way)
When it comes to brains, I got the lion-share,
but when it comes to bruth strength, I'm afraid I'm at the shallow end of the gene pool

I love the new detail on her hands; they look really delicate, much like the original film. I always notice that on Disney female characters, they ususally have really lovely hands. Random thing to spot, I know !
