I know it is like a broken record, but I watched Snakes on a Plane again today, and my brother is coming over tonight and we will watch it again instead of crappy football. This movie really rocks!!!

My mom and I watched The Devil Wears Prada today. It was pretty good. I really enjoyed it. Meryl Streep plays a really good evil woman. One of the better movies I've seen in a while.

Felix the Cat: the Movie

Gaah...luckily for me, I usually get a real kick out of watching animated films with an intensely trippy atmosphere - which this one certainly had in spades.

Like Sequel, I too recieved a copy of "The Emperor's New Groove: Ultimate Groove Edition." And I pulled out my copy to watch it again!

And what can I say about it...I LOVE THIS FILM! It is a hilarious movie, which never ceases to make me laugh AT LEAST once (though usually, SEVERAL times throughout the movie!) Some of my favorite lines...

"I don't want to be an ugly, stinky llama!! ahhhhh! LLAMA FACE!!!"

and

"Is that my voice *cough* Is that MY voice?....Oh well."

and

Old guy: "Beware the GROOVE!!"
PACHA: "ok."
Old guy: "....groooove"

I personally give the film an A. BOOM BABY!!

MY "FAB FOUR": 1- FANTASIA, 2- THE LION KING, 3- BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, 4- THE JUNGLE BOOK

Well, this weekend, I'm having an "Alan Menken Celebration!"

I'm watching all the Disney movies, that I have, that his music stars in.

So far, I have watched The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. The only other movies that I still need to watch, that I have, are Pocahontas, Aladdin, and Hercules. I have still yet to see Home on the Range, but I'm sure that the music will delight me.

For the first time I heard The Hunchback of Notre Dame with audio commentary. I really enjoy the two directors and producer talk on their features (the Atlantis commentary was awesome, and hilarious). While this one was slightly more 'dry', on its own it's still an incredible track to go through.

Pocahontas

and the not so much of a "movie" but....Water Birds

Poca is a great movie to watch. Even though it might not be "historically correct" it is a wonderful movie, whether or not historically inacurrate. WB was amazing. I only wish that it had been longer. 30 minutes isn't enough screen time, but, hey, I can't complain. It was really good, and wonderfully remastered.

I just watched SnowWhite and the 7 Dwarfs.
Can u believe everytime I think of the circumstances under which it was made while watching it I'm almost in floods of tears? Maybe it's also that the year 1937 sounds ancient to me. God, what an achievement.

Saw Deja Vu. It was a pretty darned good action flick. Jerry Bruckheimer really is an action genius. Can't wait for AWE and TBOS.

With the grandkids we watched We're Back - A Dinosaur's Story. I had forgotten all about this fabulous animated movie. It was fun watching the kids laughing and just enjoying something else besides a Disney movie.
