It's an old saying, in which when somebody like Luke dies, someone will take over.

Why I never heard of that (what rock do I live under?) I've heard the expression, "no one can fill his shoes" but not this one.

Unfortunately, I think Luke's work is overlooked, and that if he did die, the site would have to be closed since I can't imagine anyone having as much patience as he does.

'Tis true; would take someone with unending devotion, someone willing to stay up at all hours of the night working (slaving) over thoughtful skillfully written reviews, and update the website with news almost every day - seems an impossible job to fill. It's a job that could easily take 3 people to manage.

Okay, so I'm at the intermission, right? I was hanging out with Isidour, Escapay, and Robin Hood; we're standing by the red carpet and we're innocently trying to think of a way to set Teede & Alan up on a blind date (it's gonna happen; you just wait), when suddenly, Lasseter comes up. Ah, I remember it like it was yesterday...

Lasseter: Hey bud, mind helping me with some heavy lifting?
Me: Uh, sure. What are we lifting?
Lasseter: You'll see; just follow me.
*Takes me to a very dark room*
Me: Hey, this isn't Burger King. This is the ba...

That's the last thing I remember. Lasseter knocked me out and locked me in the freakin' bathroom during the intermission! I swear, he's trying to make me miss the whole awards show! I must've been in there for... um...

*Looks at date of most recent post*

I've been in there for week and a half?! I'll get you Lasseter!!! I swear, I'll......uh....

*realizes that I've just knocked Aaron off the stage and stolen the microphone. Bouncers look angry*

Oh well. I won't bore you all with the details of my escape from the locked bathroom, but congratulations to all of our deserving award winners; I'm sorry I wasn't here to congratulate you wonderful members when you got your respective awards, but you all truly earned them, and my hat is off to you all.

And congrats to Aaron on winning the kindest member award!

W-Wow. I really didn't think I was going to even be nominated for something, let alone win anything. I don't have a speech prepared, but seeing as how I have the mic, I'll just improvise.

Y'know, the only bad thing about winning the "New Member of the Year" award is that you have absolutely no chance of winning it two years in a row, or ever again, for that matter. Darn. Oh well, in all honesty, all of the other nominees deserve this award just as much as I do. They've all contributed so much to this forum and I truly believe that if it weren't for each of them, the forums wouldn't be nearly as good as they are now. I'd like to give a big thanks to Aaron for putting this whole show on, and I'd also like to thank Justin (T/P Fan), who had a simply awesome introduction speech. Although Justin, when you said "replace our shoes", shouldn't that have been "fill our shoes?" I mean, no offense, I'd love to replace your shoes, but I'm afraid that would be a very painful experience on my part.
