James, are they really reuniting?? That is AWESOME!!!
Well they are apparently getting back together for a concert called Live Aid 2. I'm not sure if it's real or not, but I read it in the newspaper, and it got me very excited.
And soooo many fans on Ultimate Disney! I never would've thought of it! I actually watched the movie last week, and it was nostalgic to say the very least. They are yesterday's news, but we can never forget the past.

I have never been a Spice Girls fan. But my sister really liked them at one point, not love them, but liked them! However there was one part of Spice Girls that I loved: SPICE GIRLS LOLLYPOPS! :D

I was a Spice Girls fan for a while. I wasn't a super fan, just owned the first CD and a single from their second. Once Geri left, my intrest had moved on.

I like all their singles. And I also like the solo work by Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton. I'm a little bummed that Posh/Victoria didn't also do her own album, but she was always accused of being the worst singer.

I believe that here in her native land she did, so you can buy it from Amazon.co.uk (to support the site with the funny link, of course ;) )...

I believe that this album flopped. Flopped in the sense that it made Catwoman almost seem as successful as the Lord of the Rings and Star Wars series combined. rotfl

Well Vicky wasn't exactly the person who sang the most in every song, and so therefore didn't do as well. She was always in the background and was not given many chances to sing a good part in any song. They made her the boring one. Not to say that she isn't a good singer, but from perception through the public eye she was the boring one. From being boring she didn't have a successful solo career. That's all I can say.

I've also heard that they will be doing a reunion concert next year, probably aroung July, 2006. But apparently some of them are hesitant to do it, considering that both Emma and Mel C have released albums recently, and will probably have to do promotional stuff, video clips, etc. But hopefully by then they'll have finished all of that stuff, and we'll have our tour. And does anyone know if the Instanbul tour was just one show only?

from http://sify.com/peopleandplaces/fullsto ... d=13871755
Fomer Spice girl Mel B has scoffed at claims the girl band are to reunite for the Live 8 charity concert, and says they will get together instead for a show to mark the 10th anniversary of their first single 'Wannabe'.

The singer has reportedly been in secret talks with other band members Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Mel C and Emma Bunton.

"I think we'll get back together in July 2006 for the 10th anniversary of the release of our first single 'Wannabe'. We all want to, I know everyone is up for it," she was quoted by Femalefirst, as saying.

"There is going to be a greatest hits album released, anyway, and we've got loads of new songs that nobody has heard yet, so it would make sense for us to do something," she added.

Oh. I must have misinterpreted my info then. But I'm happy that they're releasing a greatest hits album. Should be good.
