I rarely cry with animation. It's normally with live action that I cry.

Now that I see Gargoyles...

I was a little misty eyed when Broadway died in Future Tense..."I see the sun Goliath"

And Magus's death was sad as well. Poor Magus loved Catherine more then she will ever know.

Depending upon my mood, just about anything can make me cry.

I think it's a chick thing.

yes, we did. But it focused more on <a href="http://www.ultimatedisney.com/forum/vie ... sequels! ;)

I've found myself tearing up when the princess found her prince. C'mon, true love! :p I was practically crying a river in Mulan II, and in Brother Bear!

And I will never forget that scene in Dumbo! I was crying soo much!
And Nemo's "Swim deep" made me tear up..just a little.

...but that's all the Disney movies I remember "crying" or "tearing". I think. Now, if we were to talk about all the romantic movies I've seen...

Well, first I became a super Disney fan in December. My sister had Snow White and Beauty and the Beast. I borrowed them in January, I think.

I was extremely excited when watching Snow White. I was extremely tense when the old woman came by with the apple because I knew Snowy would die!!! And I cried when she did. I cried when the dwarfs 'buried' her and even more when the prince woke her up and the couple went away happily to his kingdom.

In Beauty and the Beast, I cried during the "Beauty and the Beast" scene and especially when Beast died!!!

In Sleeping Beauty, I cried on the 'awakening' scene. I cried when the two walked down the stairs together, and especially when Aurora ran to her mother and they held each other, that's so heart-touching.... Aww... And I continued with my tears during the whole waltz.

I don't think I cried in Bambi, but I did get emotional.

And I most probably will cry when Ariel starts crying when Eric leaves on the wedding ship. I haven't seen The Little Mermaid in perhaps a decade and I'm so anxious to see it!!!

I cry a lot. I probably couldn't even count the times I've cried during a Disney movie.

I cried only in one movie, The Lion King.
I cry when Simba tells his dad: "We're pals right? And We'll always be together right?" It always gets me 'cause I know he's going to die. The death parts really gets me flowing tho.

I don't know if cry is the right word, but I've teared up in some of the same parts of Disney films over the years.

The first one that came to mind when I saw the title of this thread was "Baby Mine" in Dumbo. That sequence is great.

Another one is "Goodbye May Seem Forever" in the Fox and the Hound... probably because I had just been forced to give up a pet about a week before I saw that movie. That's torture to a kid, I've decided.

When Mufasa dies in the Lion King, and Simba tries to wake him up then crawls under his giant paw... cried a little there too.

And obviously - Bambi. Can't forget that one.

The last one I can think of is Pinocchio... when he turns half way into a donkey. Just kidding - it's actually when Gepetto realizes he's not dead and picks him up, and they dance. What a great ending.

Sorta off topic...
I was that way a few weeks ago watching Mutual of Omaha on Animal Planet. It was about the lioness who adopted a baby antelope. All I did was cry during it because I knew it was going to be killed. I had read several articles on it the year before. Every happy moment between the lion and the baby antelope made me cry. No other program/movie/show made me cry so much.

chaychay- (dont worry about what u said, im not offended at all)

But to answer your question:
Big weekend is June 25 & June 26. 1st day is ceremony & reception on Lake Winnepesauke in NH. 2cd day is a reception only in VT (where he is from & we live now) for his huge huge family of 400+ on dads side alone. The boat we're getting married on is not big enough for his entire family-
Dont even ask about me naming them all.... that might take a while.

& I agree w/ Fox & The Hound during the Goodybye May Seem Forever scene/song-yet another scene I forgot that made that watery stuff leak on my face... That is quite a sad movie-at the end too when Copper stands in front of Tod so Amos Slade wont shoot him. awww, friends forever!

I just saw this today after quite a few years since I last saw it! I got teary eyed during that part aswell. It was all so touching, how she sacrificed her lonelyness just so Tod could be safe!

Bambi: Well we all know where it kills me hearing hims say " mother where are you?"
Hunchback: When they are torturing Quasi at the festival of Fool
Lilo and Stitch: When Lilo gets taken away and Nani is asking for her and get so upset and Stitch goes into his Ohan spill
Lion King: when Mufasa Dies and Simba tells his dad to get.
Brother Bear: When Koda finds out how his mom died
Finding Nemo: At the very beginning of the movie When marlin and Coral have thier new home and Coral dies (Gosh that made me cry)
The Pacifier: When 2nd youngest child calls Van Disel daddy after he finshs sining the Panda Bear song

and yeah thats all I can think of right now I am sure there are several more but these are the main ones. :)

Threads like these are aimed to make a fool of people, so I won't post at all in this thread. Damn, I already have.

Dumbo: Not only the famous tear-jerking scene, but also the scene where Dumbo's mother goes all crazy...the part where Dumbo gets dragged away and squeals just makes me go all upset.

The Lion King: There must be a thing I have about seeing young animals scream in distress, as like in Dumbo, the moment where Simba cries "noooooooooo!" as Mufasa is thrown off the cliff edge, tears begin to roll.

Brother Bear: I didn't fully cry in this one, but I came close in the part where Kenai tells Koda who killed his mother.

The Sword in the Stone: When I saw this when I was seven, I cried when the squirrel found out she could never love the Wart.

Sleeping Beauty: I remember that I used to cry when the fairies announced that Aurora could never see Prince Phillip again. I was around three, so don't laugh. :P

Then there's also a few where I came near to crying, like The Little Mermaid, Lilo and Stitch, Beauty and the Beast and Bambi, but I'm too lazy to go into detail with them.

The Fox and the Hound made me cry during "Goodbye May Seem Forever." I find that movie extremely sad. I can't believe most people say it's just another of those less-than-fantastic movies from the Dark Age. The end was also sad, when Copper hears those words echoing in his head:
"Copper, you're my very best friend."
"And you're mine too, Todd."
"And we'll always be friends forever, right?"
"Yeah, forever."

But they weren't!

Sniff, sniff.

Oh, I have a few. Hehe.

The Lion King: Where Mufasa dies and Scar tells Simba to run away. And when adult Simba talks to Mufasa spirit.

Beauty and the Beast: when the Beast dies.

Bambi: When Bambi realizes his mother is gone and the Great Prince takes him.

The Fox and the Hound: When Todd is released into the forest in the rainy storm.

Brother Bear: When Koda says goodbye to his mom in the last scene. Gawd, that made me SOB.

I was close to tears when I watched Robin Hood early tonight. It wasn't tears of sadness but tears of happiness that Robin Hood married Maid Marian.

The only time I ever cried during a movie (not crying out loud but a tear or 2) was when I was little and was watching the Lion King for the first time. It was during the part where Mufasa died. That's the only time I cried during a movie.

well..the ending of "The fox and the hound" it´s kinnda sad, but not to cry.

The only one who have made me cry two or three tears was A.I. at the ending.
--oh, soo sad also the scene of "please plase blue fairy"--
