now I'm bummed...Luke wrote:Just one disc. The $19.99 SRP and front page announcement where it says "disc" should clue you in to that.I do hope that the deleted scenes make the DVD, even though they're not on the preliminary information from Disney. And the trailer too, though I doubt that will show up.
The Parent Trap: Special Edition
R[APRIL.23]K: High School SweetheartsI'm pretty satisfied with what the SE has to offer (specs have been posted on the main page), but I'm bummed about there not being any deleted scenes. The lack of trailer I was sort of expecting, but not lack of deleted scenes considering the LD had them. Hopefully the actual press release will mention them since the specs here are described as "a bit of extras information."

That is such terrible artwork.
I much prefer the artwork from the VHS, which I own, and original DVD releases.
Although, the whole point of this release (to Disney) is promoting Lohan and the new Herbie film. And the new cover certianly does push Lohan; it doesn't even feautre anybody else BUT her.
And "Special Double Trouble Edition?" Who the heck made up THAT name?! SE would have been just fine.
Eh...it's the movie and content that count, not the cover, so I am definately picking this one up anyway, but man does that cover suck.

I had the remake on tape from one of the movie channels up here. I've got the Parent Trap Remake on my wish list.

I think the cover's cute, though I agree that it's fairly reminiscent of some sort of boxed set. I hate the new logo, though. What's up with the random sticks underneath "Parent"? Are they trying to make it look like a house, or what? I think this is the first time Disney's used a "special" name for one of their editions like Sony and Universal do all the time. I just hope that the name indicates more features than what was advertised (I want those deleted scenes, dang it!).
