2. Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over

I wasted my money seeing this in the theater just because Holland Taylor was in it. My little cousins kept kicking me and hitting me in the face because they wanted to "touch" the CGI images. And Holland Taylor said only two sentences! It was so not worth it.

Let's see...I can't really hate anything with Ms. Taylor in it. Milo and Otis and a very old movie about Martin Luther bored me to pieces.

The Blair Witch Project (1999) is I think by far the worst movie I've ever seen. Not only was it disappointing and a huge letdown, but it was a no-budget movie that actually got away with it while all other low-budget productions would be slammed by the viewing public, there was ZERO imagination to the whole thing, no characterization, and no intelligence in the film whatsoever. Not only was it completely unscary, but it was just plain stupid as well. The movie would only have worked if you could feel sympathy for the characters. But these 3 screw-ups were so damn stupid and annoying, you wanted them to die, and in the most violent ways possible. Did we see anything onscreen the whole time? No. And that's the only movie I can say that about. You can't expect an 80-minute movie to succeed on shaky camerawork and a bunch of retarded college students stumbling around in the woods swearing the whole time. "F***!!! F***!!! F*** I'm so f***ing scared!!!" Worst movie of all-time, basically. Compared to this movie... Plan 9 from Outer Space is a masterpiece. Blair Witch Project fails on every single level a movie could fail on. It creates NEW levels for itself, just to fail all over again!

Actually, that movie was quite good. Which was surprising, consider it's low budget and crazy story ideas. It was bizarre, but it was very well acted and well-written. It's more of an experience than a film. And it was a strange and creepy viewing experience. Not a bad movie at all.

Milo and Otis

Milo and Otis was great. It was silly, cute, a little sad, a little scary, touching, warm. It was everything an animal movie should be. Maybe it would have been better if Dudley Moore hadn't done all the animal voices. But even then, it's still a great movie.

My least favorite movie of all time, I can easily say without a doubt, is Dirty Dancing. I'd rather poke my eyeballs out with flaming rusty nails than watch this movie. I seriously hate it.

Well it's a dance movie. Sometimes, I hate Grease so much I wish I could kick one of the cast members in the knee. But I go back and forth. Because it's a dance movie- and sometimes you just don't feel like dancing. But, Dirty Dancing is better than Grease in my opinion. Not because of the story, I guess in a way the stories are told with the same amount of detail. They even out in the end because Grease is a much more timeless idea driven mostly by production design. Dirty Dancing, I believe, had a smaller budget and I know was made under much more grueling conditions. But has a much more interesting story- because the characters actually experience real pain and emotions. And it was totally believable. And that's not an easy accomplishment for a dance movie. Dirty Dancing is like a spell - it has to cast itself on the viewer in order to work. But, I love the '80s, and I really like Dirty Dancing. At least there's something to like about it.

Problem Child 2 (AWFUL, Just awful. Nothing but bathroom jokes and no laughs.Makes me cringe just thinking about it.)
Garfield The Movie (One question: Why? why did they have to ruin the good name of Garfield with this really bad movie? They got some of the characters wrong for crying out loud. I refuse to watch the sequel)

The most sinfully unenjoyable movie has got to be an old Jeff Goldblum movie about the discovery of the double helix- Life Story. We had to watch it for school, and I feel asleep twice in the three hours it was on.

Other very stupid movies IMO include:

Bad story, and that shaky camera movement is unbearable to watch. The only good thing is the Aerosmith soundtrack.

The only one I can remember hating with a passion off the top of my head is "An American in Paris". Honestly, the most overrated, horribly acted, horribly written movie ever. I'm a huge fan of musicals so imagine my displeasure when watching this piece of crap. That 30 minute long daydream of the dancing just gave me a headache. TERRIBLE.

The Exorcist

This haunted me for about a year. I was too scared to sleep by myself, and slept in my sisters room. My parents were furious, and I only watched some of it. Then, I stayed awake all night with all of the lights on and the door open to make sure that no one could come in. I stayed up getting little to no sleep. Luckily, I'm past it now, and I'm never ever going to take a glance at the horrifyingly horrible movie.

That is my favorite movie of all time (even above any Disney movie). I watched it all the time as a kid and was only scared when Elliot woke up and the light in the shed was on. The "aweful rubber doll" was state of the art in 1982 and I feel it's still convincing more than 20 years later.


My pick for the worst movie of all time is When Darkness Falls. A horror film about a man who can never step foot in the dark or the Tooth Fairy will get him. It was absolutely rediculous and I don't understand why so many of my friends loved it when it came out.
