And look how differently they are shaped...not that this would signify anything anyway. I could easily say to look at the Sleeping Beauty trailer on the film's DVD. They use the Castle from the film in place of the traditional blue castle, because it's Sleeping Beauty's.ichabod wrote:I think it definitely is Cinderella's castle because at the beginning of Cinderella II:Dreams Come True, we see the blue disney logo and it morphs into the image of the actual castle in the background
Who misses the traditional Disney logo in the movies?

No arguing. Just simply stating the fact that I like that the Castle in the opening logo is the Castle found at Disneyland which is named after Sleeping Beauty. There is really no room for argument on that, Disney has stated the fact themselves.
Cinderella Castle is at Tokyo Disneyland and Magic Kingdom, those are the tall 200 foot ones. The Castle found in the Walt Disney Pictures opening logo is the Sleeping Beauty Castle that is at Disneyland and now also in Hong Kong Disneyland, those are the small 77 foot ones.Sekaino Jasmine wrote:In Tokyo Disneyland, I remember them referring to the castle as Cinderella's. Are the two castles different in the parks or did I not remember correctly?
I really enjoy the customized opening logos. I really like the one for Fantasia 2000. You think you're just getting the same old thing, and then FLASH!!! You're in space, watching the stage assemble itself. Tarzan's is also really cool.
As long as I own one Disney DVD with the old blue logo, I'll be satisfied.

So the two castles are different? Weird! Tokyo Disneyland is pretty much exactly the same as the one in California except that most of the rides are in Japanese, there's a glass ceiling over Main Street, and it's way cleaner. I did not know that the castles were different.dizfan wrote:Cinderella Castle is at Tokyo Disneyland and Magic Kingdom, those are the tall 200 foot ones. Well, I haven't been to the one in California for a while. I'll have to go again and check it out.

Calm Down, I was just pointing out that the castle in the logo is the same shape as The castle in Cinderella! Now would they deliberately morph the logo into cinderella's castle if they weren't the same castle?KinOO wrote:ARE You frustrated or WHAT?
Disney OFFICIAL sources claims that the logo comes from the original Sleeping Beauty Castle built in the Disneyland Park of the Anaheim resort! As for the Buena Vista logo!.... no need to debate longer.....
And we all know how reliable 'Disney OFFICIAL Sources' are!
Calm down everyone! Does it really matter? It's just A castle, get over it!
PS: That castle from Cinderella 2 isn't the real Cinderella castle IMO, I think they edited the Cinderella castle to make it look good on the fade...

Ah, I was looking for that all over the net!
Well, now it proves that the castle is the Sleeping Beauty castle! But I think it's awful that they changed Cinderella's castle in the sequel!

But it's not the same. The picture Joe posted has a turret on the left higher than it's immediate neighbour to the right. That's not on the logo. All in all Joe's picture has a lot more major turrents.Joe Carioca wrote:It most certainly is Princess Aurora's castle. Here is a picture of the real Cinderella's castle:

At first I thought it was weird that they changed the Disney logo but then later I realized that Disney is only changing the logo to do something different not the same old lame logo.
