His point is that bandwith costs money, and you aren't the one paying for it. Therefore, wasting away with irrelevant or rambling posts
solely to raise your post count isn't very fair. In fact, it can be grounds for having your account banned if you get carried away with it. Maybe this shouldn't come from me, as I have a fairly large number of posts, but I like to think that my posts contribute something to the forum, and aren't designed to simply up my post count. That's not to say that you don't contribute anything, many of your posts are very good. But to flaunt your desire to get as many posts as possible, and then achieve it with a LOT of nonsense posts in a VERY short amount of time is just wrong- and not allowed. I hope this doesn't come off as too harsh. Don't stop posting or anything, but it might be best to cool it so long as a high post count is your goal.
