Wow. That was really heartfelt and touching. It was beautiful that you wrote a letter like that.

I'm sorry that you didn't get to talk to him again before he passed away, but you were mad because he didn't hang out with you, so he couldn't really be too upset when it was him who didn't get to hang out with you. And he probably, if not definately, felt better about you and him long after that. And I bet he's watching you and knowing you love him now.

I am not alright right now, but I will be. He along with my cat are the 2 that I cherish the most right now. I was a brat when I was 14 (I'm 19 going on 20 now), so I take the blame as well. He was a great childhood friend, and I will never forget about him.

It's okay that you aren't alright right now, because of this happening. But I hope you do become alright in good time.

His funeral was today, and a couple of my friends got to go on my behalf, and this is what I was told happened.

"We went to the service, it was more a celebration of his life although many tears were shed. A lot of his friends who knew them showed up. They didn't bury him, instead they cremated him. They took his ashes to a place in Montana where he loved to snow board and they're going to take the rest some place in Michigan and drop them from a plane to honor his love of sky diving. They're doing this to honor what he had passion for. I hope your not upset that you can't visit his grave, but remember that his family honored him in a special way."

You weren't able tot go to the funeral? Aw, why not?

But I like the idea of his ashes being spread everywhere. Just thinking about that should be enough, though you could also visit those specific places, too.

I live in Florida, and had no way of getting to Michigan.

I'm so sorry and I hope Jacob is at a better place now.
I know what it's like to lose something, but there's always light at the end of the tunnel, so hold on, and if you love someone, let them know, you've got nothing to lose.

Aw, you lived too far away... Well, the funeral isn't nearly as important as your friend, living on somewhere, knowing that you really love him, that's resally the only thing that matters at all.

Yep that's true. I noticed on Facebook many of his other friends were posting old pictures of him from when I was in Florida the first time, and I thought to myself only if I had stayed in Michigan I could have been in those, but oh well life's like that, but that doesn't stop me from loving him.
