Wow, I should've commented on this sooner. The personal threads always hit the backburner with me, for some reason.

But...your own apartment? That must be a dream. Congratulations. :)

Sorry about the divorce. Although, maybe, not sorry--sometimes divorce is for the best, when it just isn't working. Glad you're moving on with your life! :D

Amy even though I tried calling you for a minute, which was an epic failure.
I just wanted to say that I am so happy for you, you did the right thing, and things can only get better now. I knew that when I'm gonna come back to see you at WDW, your gonna stay happy even when you leave WDW. You're gonna find someone, and he's gonna change your life, I know because girls like you don't stay single for long. ;)

And Skype !!! Please get it ! :p

Not that there's anything wrong with being single, and you being happy shouldn't depend on a man. :)

Same deal with men. I am single and I am very happy at the moment.

I think you shouldn't rush it. If you find someone nice that's great, but you shouldn't be so desperate to find someone right now. Your life takes priority, focus on what makes you happy, what you want to accomplish, your personal goals and dreams.

I know that emotionally everything will feel like a rollercoaster now (for better or for worse), but I hope that everything is for the best. Whilst it is sad about your divorce (like any divorce is), it was obvious from a variety of posts that you weren't very happy with your married life. Whether you stay single for some time or meet somebody nice within the next few months, I hope all goes well.

If you ever have anything to say, feel free to buzz me. :)

Funny you bring this up. All my dating life, I always knew who I'd date next before the last relationship was over, and I always moved on to the next guy right away. It has happened again, I think. There's a guy I used to work with years ago. We liked each other back then, but I wasn't single. We had lost touch a year later, and then found each other on Facebook earlier this year, and started talking then, and then didn't talk again until recently, and he said that he missed hanging out, and I said that we should, and he said that won't my husband mind, and I told him what was going on, so he went with me a couple times to buy things for the apartment, and he helped me move (he borrowed his dad's truck, which was beyond helpful)...I moved in on Sunday, and he stayed until after midnight putting my bed-in-a-box together. And then on the way home (since he had to drop the truck off before it got dark out, since something was wrong with the headlights, so I picked up back up), he kissed me. Sigh. I don't know what that means...I mean, yesterday on Facebook we were talking, and he asked me if I was shocked, and I said that I was hoping that that would happen, and he said, "Really?"...he said he had wanted to do that for a while. So, yay. He's a really great guy, but I don't know where we stand, as far as relationship status or anything. I'm fine with taking everything slow and not worrying too much about where we stand. But I'm glad to have him around.

I agree...I'm not out there looking for anyone...this was already someone I knew and liked... :) And I'm definitely not desperate. I don't have goals and dreams besides being happy, really, and yesterday was the best day I've had in a freaking long time...like, years and years. The kiss + Hanson = <3<3<3 :)

Thanks again for all of your kind words, everyone!!! :)

I'm glad that you've found a way to be happy in a situation that could easily be depressing. But you seem to be making the best out of it.

I wish you well, and good luck. :)

Gosh, Amy ! I never even saw this thread until now, I'm really sorry I hadnt said anything earlier :(

But I'm so glad that you are moving on, and have your own space and everything. I was going to email you and see where you had got to; I wasnt used to not seeing you update everything in the Theme Park threads !

I dont know anything about the situation or anything, but I'm so sorry it ended in divorce, and I'm also so happy that you are being very positive and moving on and up. You deserve wonderful things in life Amy, you are one of the lovliest people I know, and happiness will come around to you :)

You all are amazing, thank you! My life isn't anywhere near figured out though...and I don't even know where it's going with this guy...and I'm beyond stressed with my job. And I don't have my computer set up yet at the apartment, so I am so behind on Disney news, and most pictures and videos don't work on the work computer (I think I need a plug-in?), so ugh... :/ But thank you for your nice words!

? You went to a Hanson concert or something? They still do concerts?!

Get a new computer, or get someone to help you get pics and vids, fast! If it weren't for the visuals I wouldn't even be on the computer! Disney art, baby!

Yes, they still do concerts...their last CD came out a few months ago. :/ <3

And I could just try and download the plug-in...my own computer works fine, it's just not up yet, but once it's up, I'll be all set. :)

Quick mini-update. That guy I mentioned...yeah, nothing is going on with us. Which is good. I finally have some time to be on the Internet- Bobby's been on a camping trip, so I've been feeding Harry and Sally, and this morning I'm doing my laundry (for free :p), so I have a little time. I have major UD withdrawal. :P I don't know if any of you use Google Chrome, but you can see the past few websites that have been gone on, or the ones you go on most frequently, or something, and Bobby totally has been going to eHarmony and Match.com, even after telling me that he doesn't think he would resort to online dating sites. I don't care, I just find it funny.

Glad you could get in some UD time, lol.. Everyone is all excited for Tangled, and that's the biggest thing going on I think.

Uhh, I think that by having a picture with you and a girl, it might reduce your chances of a girl wanting to contact you...? I could be wrong. I mean, I'll be honest, I find it a little weird, sure, because I'm not the one on the dating site, but, um, if you feel that you need the whole picture in your profile, then, um, maybe it's okay...? Haha, awkward. :p Nothing against you, of course. <3

And, no porn. :thumb:
