But...your own apartment? That must be a dream. Congratulations.
Sorry about the divorce. Although, maybe, not sorry--sometimes divorce is for the best, when it just isn't working. Glad you're moving on with your life!

Same deal with men. I am single and I am very happy at the moment.Goliath wrote:Not that there's anything wrong with being single, and you being happy shouldn't depend on a man.Jack Skellington wrote:You're gonna find someone, and he's gonna change your life, I know because girls like you don't stay single for long.![]()

lol, it's the thought that counts.Jack Skellington wrote:Amy even though I tried calling you for a minute, which was an epic failure.
Funny you bring this up. All my dating life, I always knew who I'd date next before the last relationship was over, and I always moved on to the next guy right away. It has happened again, I think. There's a guy I used to work with years ago. We liked each other back then, but I wasn't single. We had lost touch a year later, and then found each other on Facebook earlier this year, and started talking then, and then didn't talk again until recently, and he said that he missed hanging out, and I said that we should, and he said that won't my husband mind, and I told him what was going on, so he went with me a couple times to buy things for the apartment, and he helped me move (he borrowed his dad's truck, which was beyond helpful)...I moved in on Sunday, and he stayed until after midnight putting my bed-in-a-box together. And then on the way home (since he had to drop the truck off before it got dark out, since something was wrong with the headlights, so I picked up back up), he kissed me. Sigh. I don't know what that means...I mean, yesterday on Facebook we were talking, and he asked me if I was shocked, and I said that I was hoping that that would happen, and he said, "Really?"...he said he had wanted to do that for a while. So, yay. He's a really great guy, but I don't know where we stand, as far as relationship status or anything. I'm fine with taking everything slow and not worrying too much about where we stand. But I'm glad to have him around.Jack Skellington wrote:You're gonna find someone, and he's gonna change your life, I know because girls like you don't stay single for long.
But webcams aren't my thing...Jack Skellington wrote: And Skype !!! Please get it !
I agree...I'm not out there looking for anyone...this was already someone I knew and liked...pap64 wrote:I think you shouldn't rush it. If you find someone nice that's great, but you shouldn't be so desperate to find someone right now. Your life takes priority, focus on what makes you happy, what you want to accomplish, your personal goals and dreams.
