The two Disney movies I bought were The Black Hole and The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes.

The Black Hole had one, the other didn't.
I guess you just have to look on the back and see if it has a DMR icon.

And Neal, I think it's just Wal-Mart's store redesign... they have the "kids/family" aisle now having a "Preschool" section, a Nickelodeon section, and a Disney section. So naturally they'd have to stock more Disney titles. But that's just my theory.

There's been a Kindergarten, Nickelodeon/DreamWorks, Disney section, etc. at mine clearly defined since last April. Only now did they stock the titles. They added an aisle to stock them, not used the titles to fill in existing space.

Oh... well I hardly shop at Wal-Mart so I wouldn't know.

They only had that one section, and part of an endcap has some Disney stuff too. It seems our store got rid of an entire rack and changed it to music CDs... as I said all they have is the kids' stuff, TV shows, and "New releases". Their "A-Z" section is now a third of a rack and only has about 20 titles.

When you see endcaps like that at any retail store that include signage with an official logo (and not just a price sign to move bulk product), it's usually because the vendor paid for that premium space.

I've been to several Walmart stores in my area and this Disney endcap is consistent with all of them, so I think it's safe to say it's a contracted thing between Disney and WMT to have that endcap space.

And on an off-topic note (noting your sig line): since when was Howard Ashman the voice of Ariel? :P

LOL, I just copied the R.I.P. from the end of Beauty and the Beast and added in the thing about Arabian Nights since he also did music for Aladdin :D

Went to a further away Wal-Mart today, and while they had fewer selection (for example, only one of the three Dexter Riley movies while the Wal-Mart I checked before had two, anyone seen "Now You See Him, Now You Don't" at one yet?), they had added slipcovers over some of the Disney liveaction. I bought Computer Wore Tennis Shoes, and it had a clear slipcover on it with some fireworks and some written in the lower right corner like Disney Magic or something, but I don't feel like going and checking right now, ha. Anyway, I know, I know, slipcovers are dumb and all, but it at least adds something new to the look of the DVDs on the shelves like all those other gimmicky slipcovers they come out with (like ones for Valentine's, Christmas, etc...). Anyway, so I'm going to go watch my movie now.
