It's mostly the same thing but without the red banner on top and with the center title banner being predominantly tan rather than red. The bottom half is different though. I'll try to post it later.
ok, thanks

The cover is okay....a bit cluttered. I'm sure there is some revision to go. They could probably get Sao Feng out of there. But, I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Disney DVDs never seem to want to include the feature film's trailer, but they'll include gobs of previews for other movies.

I'll pick this up, 2 DISC of course. They should ONLY release it as a 2 DISC.

And why does blu-ray yet again get blu-ray exclusive features? That's still unfair - not everyone is going to buy a Blu Ray Player.
Disney Channel died when they stopped airing movies with Haley mills (Parent Trap and Pollyanna) and fun adventure movies like Swiss Family Robinson. R.I.P. the REAL Disney Channel. Date of Death: When the shows became teenie bopperish.

I think the fog that surrounds the floating heads is what annoys me most on the cover. The characters are kind of subdued by it and it just looks... messy. I'd rather have a nice, crisp image, as with the last two.

I'll probably just pick up the 1-disc like I did with DMC. I mean the Pirates films are very entertaining, but not exactly the type where I'm thinking "I need to pay more for those special features." A commentary's just fine. :)

I still haven't bought the first two. I'm buying them soon, though, and will probably wait untill the price goes down for At World's End. I like them but it's not worth $30.

The cover isn't that great, hopefully they will change it. However its whats on the disc that counts. I will be picking this up.

I'll probably just get the 1 disc like I did with Dead Man's Chest.

Some of the extra features might not be possible on DVD.

Someone on imdb posted this image of a newspaper advertisement from the film's release, suggesting it'd make a better DVD cover. Looking at it, I definitely agree (albeit without the critic quotes, of course). The characters are much more organized. This image matches so well with the official posters for the first two that it makes me wonder why Disney didn't use this as the official poster (and DVD cover) for this film. You decide:

Oh, yes, that cover's much better. Its color palette matches the first two much better than the over-saturated artwork from a month ago did, and red suits the film better than blue. I like that this has a border like Dead Man's Chest, and it goes without saying that the composition of the characters has wildly improved. Kudos, Disney!

The 1-disc cover is awesome. I love Jack and Davy in the corner fighting.

2-disc is nice too. Great cover arts, they match the first two films.
