As a child, I saw only 6 Disney films in theaters (The Lion King, Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules , Tarzan and Mulan). And I think that experience really made me fascinated with the film (which doesn't come as effectively from a television screen). Ever since the movie was released, its been my second favorite animated film made by Disney. The style, the music, the comedy (without going over-the-top like Aladdin) and the characters just make the film unforgettable for me. Its ranking on my list will most likely never change.

Hercules is also one of the main reasons I've always been interested in old mythologies (even if it does deviate widely from its source material).
