I never thought Anna or Marilyn were attractive at all, though I'm sad for them both.

This topic is being broadcasted entirely too much now, in my opinion. It seems to be all every news channel talks about, every day and all day.

I agree, but don't blame the media. Blame the general public. For the same reason "reality" series are so popular, much of the public has become voyers (sp?) Gotta know everyone else's business. And Anna Nicole has always been a train wreck and people love that. Because it shows their vulnerabilities, that they are just as weak as us. And it is a distraction for people to talk about Anna Nicole's problems over their own. It makes them feel like they have a better life then her. Psyhoclogy....its a scary thing.

Exactly. The public is eating up her personal problems and thinking they're so much better than her, especially if they've never needed anti-depressants. It's assumed that everyone who ever has depression is automatically a drug zombie or a freak.

So untrue.

Does anyone know the results of Anna's autopsy? What killed her? I haven't heard anything...

The autopsy was inconclusive, but there were many drugs found in her room. I can't remember them all, but one was Xanax, which I take for my depression and anxiety, and one that can interfere with every other medication that you're taking. She was stupid to be taking so many pills at the same time. She probably didn't know what they were for anyway.

What on earth are you talking about? I'm not Ms. van der Pol. (Oh no, not again.) But seriously, what? There isn't any spam.

James, I do hope that the public doesn't receive any more faulty impressions because of this. You know, impressions such as "everyone who takes pills for depression and anxiety abuses said medications."
You, I, and millions of others do not.

I hope so too. It's nice to know that someone else on this forum takes the same pills as me. I've actually stopped taking one of my medications, because I'm having annoying side effects, like nausea, etc. so I need to clear that up with my doctor. Of course Anna Nicole Smith would be the only person without enough brains to realise she shouldn't have been taking all those pills.

This is very sad. First she lost her son and now she is gone and her daughter has lost her. Hopefully she is with her son and hopefully her daughter will grow up in a loving and happy family.
