wow. Desperate Housewives is FINALLY getting good. I love the new mystery with Orson. The show is finally clever, witty, and engaging. Loves it.

I enjoyed tonight's episode quite a bit.

BREE
Her story's will always be my favorite. They're always the most engaging and I just love her character. I feel so sorry for her though! The poor girl has been through a lot!

GABRIELLE
I feel so sorry for her! She finally decides that she wants a baby and now it seems that she'll never get one! Poor girl. Her storylines are always interesting, too.

LYNETTE
I still don't know how I feel about her story this season. Don't get me wrong, I love her character. But it just seems like there is no way they'll be able to resolve it. Nora obviously isn't going anywhere anytime soon (unfortunately). But I'm sure the clever writers of one of the greatest shows in TV history have something up their sleeve!

SUSAN
Ugh, get rid of her. I can't stand Susan and her extremely boring storylines. She bugs the living crap out of me and I can't even bear to talk about her anymore.

Woah! Last nights episode was great! I love where the story is going (unless that includes Bree biting it, and then I'm out). Next weeks episode looks even better with two very interesting characters returning in John and Andrew.

Um....that would be interesting, considering he died in the season 2 finale.

Didn't stop Bobby Ewing...

Hey, now that's an idea...let's retcon the entire Season Two, and have Bree wake up and find Rex in the shower...

So, here's a bit of interesting news. I'm at work today, talking to a co-worker of mine, and talking about Desperate Housewives. I mentioned that I thought the guy who plays Edie Britt's nephew, Austin, is really hot. She said, "Well, I went to school with him. He was a Freshman at Memorial when I was a Senior." I laughed, thinking she was joking with me. She said, "No, he lived in Tulsa for quite some time. He wasn't that hot when I went to school with him. I don't know, it's funny how much better Hollywood can make you look." I kind of just looked at her, and thought she was still joking. Finally, she went to the front of our store, and brought back the October issue of Oklahoma magazine. Right there, on the front cover, is Josh Henderson, who plays Austin. I read the article, and I couldn't believe it. I'm like, "I can't believe he's from Tulsa!" She said, "Yep, but, I tell you, he wasn't that hot when I went to school with him. He's really hot, now, though!" Anyway, it's an interesting tidbit to say that I live in the city that Josh Henderson lived in. I'm very proud of him, coming on to one of the hottest shows on television, and am very excited to see where his story will go.

Anyway, I scanned the magazine cover, and the pages that he is featured in. I'm linking to the scans, because they are rather large. It is an interesting read (with a few great pictures), though, so I hope you'll enjoy!

I love Desperate Housewives, it is good this season, better than last season. I like the whole Orson mystery, which I don't think he killed his wife, I think she is in that Psychiatric hospital where Bree checked herself into. Just a thought.

Oh...sorry. I didn't know that. I was unable to catch the season finale because I was at camp. I read the synopsis online a couple months back, but I don't remember that part being mentioned.
Forgive me.

I'm guessing that was for lord-of-sith, and not me, right? :P

Oh, sorry for spoiling it for you then. It was kinda big, so I figured everyone kinda knew about it by now. Again, sorry about that.

I just re-watched Sunday night's episode ... and I put my captions on ...

Here is what Orson said at the morgue :: "Tu me manques Monique"

I went to freetranslation.com and it said that "tu me manques" means "you lack me"

Hmmm ...

I think he means "I miss you Monique."

I didn't take French but that's my hunch.

Escapay and lord-of-sith, it's okay. I needed to know.
harbinger- I think he might mean something like "You're nothing without me." "I miss you" sounds too tame, and I definitely think Orson is not a good guy...even if he didn't kill hs wife.

Hmmm ....

I am really liking year 3 ... and I am still sticking by my thought that Orson did not kill Alma ...

Last year ... episode after episode after episode we were told Caleb killed the Foster girl ... and we found out at the end that it was Matthew ...

So I am still thinking that all the evidence will point to Orson ... but it wasn't him ...

Episode 2 was great ... From the intro ... the final moments focusing on the "perfect couple" theme ...

Bree :: So she is officially a Hodge ... gosh imma miss the Van de Kamp ...

Lynette :: I am actually growing quite fond of the B--ch in her life ... I remember her from Saved by the Bell: The College Years ...

Edie :: Hmmm ... So she still hates Susan ... seems like that will be so much fun ... and the nephew ... a possible love interest for Julie ... wonder what Zack will think of that ???

Gaby :: Gosh I really like Carlos and Gaby together ... I hope they can work things out ... and it seems they do not have a baby ... bye bye Xiao-Mei LOL

Susan :: Oh Susan ... I really don't like you with Dougray Scott ... Ian is so blah ... and such a turd for flirting with you while his wife is in a coma ... BUT ... I must admit I did enjoy the Orson/Bree toast back and forth that they went through ...

Overall a very good episode ... Loved that Laurie was back as Carolyn Bigsby ... I could swear the mentioned the character's name once before in an episode in season 1 or 2 ...

Loved that we finally got to see Aunt Fern ... Bree has mentioned her a few times as one of her favorite aunts ...

Seems like next week is promising as well ... the return of Andrew ... but why oh why is Gaby going to comfort herself in John Rowland's arms? an engaged John Rowland LOL ... and two of our housewive's will be out of town ... Lynette is going on a camping trip ... and Susan leaves for a romantic holiday with (ick) Ian ...

What if Orson had hired Mike to kill Alma, that he got Mike to kill her, bury the body, and then paid him to stay away. Then, when Orson saw Mike, he realizes he should've gotten rid of him too, so he finishes the job by running him over. After all, he got rid of the parrot, and that parrot of Alma's repeated whatever she said. She could have been saying "Orson, no, no!" (or whatever it was) because Mike might have been dragging her away, or she saw Orson tell Mike to kill her.

I think the Mike connection has to deal with when Mike was in prison ... and Orson was a prison dentist ... I think that Mike is somehow connected to his friend in the mental hospital ... Maybe the reason she was put there ...

Also ... we have to remember the time frame of events ... the disappearance of Alma happened "one year ago" in the DH world ... 6 months ago Orson and Bree had their first date (so that was a little after the season finale) ... So probably 7 - 8 months ago was when Susan crashed Orson's date at the movies to hide from Mike ... it was shortly after then that Carl threw something at Mike which chipped his tooth ... leading Susan to refer Mike to Orson ...

So ... Alma was already missing when Mike had his first dental appointment with Mike ... If Mike would have been the one to help Orson kill Alma ... I would think that their first conversation wouldn't be about Mike saying "oh ... you worked in prisons? maybe thats where i remember you from" and Orson completely trying to dodge his questions ...

Oh yeah...forgot about the time that Alma was killed.

Okay, I can throw that theory out.

Was there a cliffhanger to the episode? When I watched it, it seemed to end abruptly.

The episode itself was awesome! The twist on Gabby's baby was shocking, but I felt really sad for her. Bree, in my opinion, is being too stubborn and careless about the whole situation with Orson. Susan, I find hilarious again after a season of poor comedic scenes (though her new friend is so incredibly annoying). Lynette was the least interesting this round, but I really think they're going somewhere with all of this, so I'll just enjoy the ride.

If you count Orson saying something mysterious in French to a dead woman, and Susan practically cheating on Mike, and Bree marrying a creep-o, and Carlos revealing that he may want to get back together with Gabby, and Lynette setting Nora and Carlos up, AND Edie's nephew hitting on Julie, AND Gabby's baby coming out African American all to be cliffhangers, then yes.

If not, then no. :D

Lol, I just meant a dead body kinda cliffhanger. Something that came out of left field.

There is a dead body, and it's missing all its teeth. And it's probably named Monique.
