Good to see its still #1, and with it still being half term for half the country it could still manage another week at the top spot. The only major releases being released on Friday are Date Movie and Lucky Number Slevin, though both i think will just go to #2 and #3.

I actually never knew The Shaggy Dog had been released already until the other day. I expected it to have a lot more promotion and to have more of an impact on the Box Office.

I still havent seen Cars, but i didnt think it would do as well as the other pixar movies, i think it will become what "A Bugs Life" is now, still an awesome movie but the one people dislike/forget about the most.
The animation looks awesome but i think a major problem is Cars are aimed at boys, i doubt many young girls would want to go see a movie about Cars....

'Cars' was always going to get criticism for its box office performance I think; it perhaps could have been marketed better as has been pointed out, cars are very much aimed at boys but (though I haven't seen it) it looks to have the usual factors to please both genders and in fact had it managed to tone down the driving stuff and big up the love story aspect then could have done a bit better perhaps?

At the end of the day, 'Finding Nemo' and 'The Incredibles' were probably the pinnacle of Pixar's success for the time being (as we know with Disney, resurgence and huge figures rarely lasts longer than three films) so the drop had to come eventually.

What the Wicker Man is doing at #3 i'll never know
I've never been so confused/annoyed/bored/tired when watching a film in all my life.....and it wasnt even exactly meant to make you feel confused. I hadnt seen the original and knew nothing about the movie apart from the fact Nicholas Cage was in it (i thought heck hes in it, it cant be bad). I was wrong, very wrong.

I didnt know what or who the wicker man was, so i just went along with the whole thing with the little girl, until the end when they reveal that crappy twist *SPOILERS AHEAD* then they kill him, then they drag it on even further and show 2 other girls fooling some other guys........also the bees served no relevance in this at all, in the trailer they were shown to have some relevance but that scene was cut from the final movie, and what was the deal when he was going through the house and the bees were all over the lady? I was confused, very confused. And i've gone on and on but really Nicholas Cage can do ALOT better than that.
