I don't see the point, either. It's already there, why take it away for the international release?

Cinderella only 1-disc in other countries?!
Hold it right there! It is a shame that some other countries are only getting 1-disc releases of Cinderella, and Disney really should give them 2-discs, but you are treating the DVD like it's only worth getting it for the bonus features! You are forgetting that some people just love the film itself, and want to see the amazing restoration it was given! I would buy the DVD for the restored film alone! Disney is really, really unfair in only giving some countries the 2-disc DVDs, but don't skip out on the DVD just because it has only 1 disc!

I totally agree with you...nordic wrote:I don't get why some countries only gets a one disc release (or both one disc and two discs releases).
Kind of defeats the point of releasing them as platinum editions, doesn't it?

They took us to a magical journey under the sea, they show us how a beautiful girl can look into a heart of a beast, they even made us fly on a magic carpet...
Someday the magic will return!

Unfoturnate and unjustly, in Spain we will only have the one disc edition of Cinderella.
It is strange, because "Snowhite" was the only one single edition of platinum here. Beauty and the beast, The lion king and Aladdin were all 2 discs editions.
I don't understand why they decided that Cinderella has to lose one disc in Spain. It is one of the best Disney classics.
Besides, in Bambi and The incredibles, the teaser of Cinderella said "2 disc edition"
It seems that they think that some countries don't deserve complete editions.
If extra contest are not dubbed but subtitled, is it too much expensive to take the second disc to all countries?
I am very dissapointed with Buenavista Spain.

I saw today in FilmValley (A Dutch Magazine about film) an advertisement of the Cinderella DVD. It was the same artwork but on the bottom it had a silver bar with "2-Disc Speciale Uitvoering". I think BV means a slipcover with "extra beautiful package". And I'm happy about it, because not much Disney DVD's get slipcovers here.Wonderlicious wrote:Out of curiosity, is there an image of the 2 disc set of Cinderella in Holland?Scabbie wrote:Wow... just saw the complete press release of Cinderella. We in Holland will have a 1-disc version and a limited 2-disc version in a extra beautiful package. This is nice because Aladdin and Bambi were just like other DVD's (just a keepcase).
And I'm still a bit surprised by the fact that Holland is one of the few European countries with 1 and 2-disc sets. Which other countries get 2 discs?

I know that the United Kingdom is just getting a 2 disc edition, as is Germany. France will be getting a 1 and 2 disc edition, and I'm not too sure about other countries, though I have a feeling that Australia will most likely get a 2 disc edition.Scabbie wrote:And I'm still a bit surprised by the fact that Holland is one of the few European countries with 1 and 2-disc sets. Yeah, I forgot, because in Holland and Belgium we have exactly the same Disney DVD's (except Finding Nemo, I think). That luxe-edition is just a slipcover, I think (but I love slipcovers!waltdisney123 wrote:here in belguim we get also a 1-disc and a 2-disc,they say that the 2-disc is gonna be a luxe-edition.

I don't think that, because the 2-disc set in the advertisement looked like a keepcase.waltdisney123 wrote:yes me to scabbieScabbie wrote: Yeah, I forgot, because in Holland and Belgium we have exactly the same Disney DVD's (except Finding Nemo, I think).
