Never said he was, I was responding to statement made that Hicks was the most failing of the Idol contestants.

You must not pay attention to what is on television other than the worst channel in history - the current version of Disney Channel.

Kelly Clarkson had a total hour and a half show with Reba McIntire called "Crossroads" and they did duets on well over a dozen songs.

Kelly Clarkson and David Cook were on Jimmy Kimmel Live one night and did a duet.

Carrie Underwood has done duets with several of the former AI contestants on several different shows, most recently Regis and Kelly Live, where she sang a duet, at the insistance of Kelly Rippa, with David Cook.

So you just need to read the TV Guide a little bit closer and watch something other than Disney stuff with all those no-talent bottom-of-the-barrel losers and use the DVR for what it is made for, and record shows that you don't normally watch just to get their performances.

If you even watch CMT in the least you will learn who is doing what with who. Trisha Yearwood has a video with Jordin Sparks, and there are many other shows on a lot of other channels that have guest stars that include the AI contestants.

An added comment, I also would like to see a duet with Jordin Sparks and Fantasia, or even Jennifer Hudson and Jordin Sparks.

First of all, Bill, Widdi said that Taylor Hicks was the worst selling American Idol WINNER, not contestant.

And Disney Divinity said she (he?) wanted a CD of duets. Not random talk show appearences.

Wow. You show your idiocy in your assumptions of who I am. Not that I'm at all surprised in the least--you seem to spout off occasionally, anyway.

Funny...none of those seem to be recorded duets between two Idol contestants. Strange, I thought you at least knew how to read.

Okay okay... Bill, can we please refrain from nitpicking people's posts and being overly argumentative? And Disney's Divinity, throwing words like "idiocy" at another member isn't allowed, no more how frustrating the conversation. Thanks.

Moving on...

Here here! I consider Allison one of the best contestants that Idol has ever seen and I'm really sad to see her go. I feel like we can pretty comfortably expect future music from her, though, and maybe the fourth place finish will mean she isn't forced into the kind of pop crap that Archuleta had to take on for his first CD.

As for the night's performances... I very much appreciated the old school No Doubt! Also, while Paula's performance was ridiculously lip synced, I say good for her -- despite her age and more than a decade of music retirement, she still showed up the contestants with a superstar persona.

Holy crap! I'm not the only Gokey-hater out there!

My friends have made me sick of the show with their constant Gokey ramblings, harassing me, in fact, to the most annoying levels. I hate being bugged and I am dreadful at comebacks. I always fall in my own trap.

I was rooting for Jackie Tohn, and then Lill Rounds, but I haven't seen an episode since the Wildcard Round. I've just been following the eliminations, and when Gokey is finally gone, I shall return AI back to my normal watching habits.

Curious to see what the contestants choose for their song tonight and what the judges choose for them to sing as well. I am thinking that we will be seeing a Danny/Adam finale, I am not positive that Kris can survive another week.

The final three... wasn't that bad really.

The Rankings:
1. Adam Lambert (Song 1)
2. Kris Allen (Song 2)
3. Adam Lambert (Song 2)
4. Danny Gokey (Song 1)
5. Kris Allen (Song 1)
6. Danny Gokey (Song 2)

Adam totally proved why he will be in the finals next week. "One" was totally out of this world, and while "Cryin'" (My all time favourite Aerosmith song) had an arrangement that really chopped the song up in a way I didn't particularly like, he still gave one hell of a vocal.

Kris faltered on "Apologize" it was good, but it wasn't knock out. But "Heartless" was perfect. Welcome to my iPod Mr. Allen.

Danny gave two performances that weren't bad either. His first song could become his version of "that one song, by someone I hate that I actually don't mind". "You Are So Beautiful" was classic (IE, Danny I hate) Gokey.

Bottom Two: Kris & Danny

Going Home: Kris

And with the last of the Fodder gone the two chosen children shall battle it out for the title.

Adam easily did the best tonight. Kris’ “Heartless” (which, I agree with Randy, was better than anything Kanye West could have ever sung) was the only other notable performance. Gokey’s “You Are So Beautiful” had a few good moments, but mostly was bad for me. I also agreed with Simon on Kris and “Apologize”—Kara should pick a song that will be a good choice regardless of whether they change it up or not. And she didn’t do that. I’m really reeling from the fact that they renewed her contract.

As I have said all season long, this is Adam's title to lose. And if he keeps performing like he did last night, the title is in the bag, not forgetting that a fickle American voting public may put Danny Gokey in the driver's seat.

Adam's version of U2's "One" was the best thing I have heard all season from him, and even though it was poorly edited for the show, Adam gave his all with Aerosmith's "Cryin'".

Kris Allen hid behind the piano with his first song, "Apologize" and basically did a note for note copy of the song, and then got slammed by the people who picked it for him. He came back with ruthless rendition of "Heartless" that rocked the house, but I think that it is too late for Kris.

Danny Gokey proved why he deserves to be in the finals with his perfomances tonight. His version of the Terrance Trent D'Arby song was very good, however, like Simon said, this is a singing contest and the dancing was not on par with the vocals. When Danny started "You Are So Beautiful" it was a moment in time for him. What a great arrangement, and he did it perfectly and brought the house down.

Tonight we will say farewell to either Kris or Danny. I hope that it is Kris, because I think Danny is the only one who is up to level that Adam has raised the bar.

Also last year's winner, Jordin Sparks makes a return appearance to the AI stage. Should be a very good results show, with the big Finale next week.

It just shows how fickle the voters are. They vote for the cutey and not the talented. It would have really been a good show with Danny and Adam, and Adam would have had to work a lot harder for it than he will against Kris Allen.

Nonetheless it will be a great Finals week, the Results 2-hour spectacular is going to be worth the price of admission alone. The scene all moves to the Nokia Theater, a bigger stage, bigger audience, and a real chance to show off what talent each finalist has. This is and always has been Adam's title to lose.

All in all it has been a great season, and I am already looking forward to next season, although I will miss the presence of Paula Abdul on the panel of judges, Kara will be a fine replacement.

Yay! :D

With my two favorite contestants of the season being the last two, this will surely be my favorite finale yet!

But just because I love both Adam and Kris, it's not hard for me to pick who I'll vote for. Adam all the way! He's been my favorite since the auditions, and I'm so excited he's the one to beat!

I was thrilled when Kris was announced as safe. Danny should have left weeks ago. Very glad to see him gone now. While I have very little hope that Kris will win the whole thing, I'm happy that there's at least one person I enjoy in the finals. That said, nothing would make me happier than Adam losing next week.

Both Simon and Randy have recently confirmed in talk show interviews that all four judges are returning next year.

The final showdown. The chosen one (err, after Danny started losing steam) faces off against the one who wasn't even shown till the group performances, who made it into the Top 13 cause he was cute and then proved he did have a voice to go with his good-looks.

It was a pretty good showdown.

Round One totally went to Kris. You may remember that I didn't like when Adam sang Mad World all those weeks ago, I liked it a bit more tonight. But Kris completely nailed his song and after the first round I was convinced that Kris could pull an upset and beat Adam. The problem was there were two more rounds.

Round Two went to Adam hands down. Though I must say I HATE the fact that Simon Fuller got to pick these songs. Had Kris been allowed to select his own song he could have chosen something that would have seemed less college dormy and more showcasing. It kinda looked like Adam didn't want to sing his song, but it didn't matter, it was a knock out anyways.

Round Three. I hate hate HATE these coronation songs. If there were anything I'd get rid of off this show they would be my pick. They are always uber cheesy and either cater to neither singer or greatly to one (think Blake Vs Jordin). Neither of the boys had a great performance with these songs. Adam would never sing something like this on an album and it think it would be impossible for him to arrange it into something he would. Kris may sing something like this, but this song was not for him, even though he sang it slightly better than Adam. I say they tie for this round as both had some positives, but the negatives on both outweigh them.

So who wins? I honestly don't know. I'd say Adam has proved he is more of an artist throughout this season, but he's not exactly mainstream. If this was 1978 he would win hands down, but it's not. Kris is more of a singer than an artist (though he did have artsy moments of brilliance this season i.e. "She Works Hard for the Money") but he too doesn't exactly fit the 12-18 demographic which composes the voting majority of this show.

But I must make a prediction and I shall predict that the one, the only, GLAMBERT shall win AI8.
