I hope that’s so much earlier. I literally dreamt about the soundtrack the other day! Ugh, the suspense is killing me.
I think the listings will go up in September. But the track titles will take longer. God knows how long Disney is planning to keep this a secret. :?

After the japan trailer and french poster, I'm sure more people know about it now.

Thank You!!! rotfl

Usually when I check on CD pre-orders on Amazon, the album is there, but the track titles are not. Like this:

I've been a long time reading this post and I had some problems to Login, but now I finally did.
Seriously though, this trailer is a definite improvement. Now Disney, I doubt you're reading this, but whoever it is in Japan putting together these trailers, these are the guys you need to hire!

I noticed something:

Now, we haven't seen Hans' full face, but don't you think they could be similar?

So, I saw MU today. My mom was laughing her head off the WHOLE time during the Frozen teaser.

And the whole theater was too, esepecially at the ending. A little kid was mimicking Olaf’s sneeze after it was done. Great sign! :)

Tompako, I only see a little of the real life Hans in him. And good point, taei.

I don't know if this has been posted here, but if anyone wants to hear Kristen Bell sing, this is a video.

While her voice does indeed sound great, it's just not that unique. Ariel and Belle had the most unique voices. I like her speaking voice way more. I can't wait till we get an actual trailer with the english cast! :D

She sounds like a regular broadway/west end voice.....good, but as you said, doesn't really stand out. I think Mandy has a much more interesting voice; plus she was an interesting choice due to not being a stage voice.

I'm not slating her though, I'd love to sound half as good as that! Just not anything interesting really is all.

Mandy's voice showed great personality for the speaking part but Kristen's singing voice wipes the floor with Mandy's. It's no contest in my opinion.

Although I really like Mandy's voice, I think it's good that Kristen's is way different. I think it's the first high pitched Main Princess voice in this "new Disney Era". I agree, there's nothing special in her voice, but at some points she kind of reminds me to the classic voices (but I think it's the high pitch again).

Goodness, you really think so? I couldn't agree less! Voices that are a bit different stand out more for me. I suppose the style of Tangled's songs were different from Menken's usual Disney musicals, with more of a folk edge to the leads 'I Want' song.

A voice can be different and unique and still have power and range. Jodi Benson is a perfect example.

But Mandy's voice was severely lacking in the power department and you could hear during the 'When Will My Life Begin?' reprise. She couldn't give that the kick it really needed. And while she did fine, (especially speaking in my opinion) her performance at the Oscars is a perfect example of how inferior her singing voice is to all the previous princesses. She may have a well developed technique to hit the high notes, but they do not come naturally like with Jodi Benson or Anika Noni Rose.

Mandy's not a belter. And Menken's music (even Tangled) requires that kind of range. So I think they should have had a different actress doing the singing voice but obviously that would be an insult to Mandy seeing as how she started her career as a singer.

I think Kristen is a great choice because she's a big name, like Mandy, but actually has the vocal chops to pull it off. And definitely the comedic skills as well.

Kristen Bell is a fantastic voice actress with Broadway roots. She also happens to have good comedic instincts and can pull off "adorable" very well. I couldn't have been happier when she was announced as the next Disney princess.

Rapunzel and Anna are two different characters as well, despite all the claims to the contrary  Considering their casting choices, I have a feeling the songs in Frozen will be more Broadway and less of a contemporary/top 40 vibe, like the songs Mandy Moore sang in Tangled which were suited to her talents. Even if you're not a fan of Kristen's singing, I'm sure they're not going to let Idina's talent go to waste.

Here are a few more clips of Kristen in Reefer Madness, which show a little more range/personality

skip to 2:38 for her main part of the song (my personal favorite...imagine Anna like this )

That's one of things I hate about enchanted. The songs felt like they fit a broadway show, not a movie. Stephen Schwartz wrote the songs for Enchanted, Pocahontas, and Hunchback of Notre Dame (Which I think is the best musical disney movie, when it comes to the musical genre). Disney movies have their own type of musicals. They're a mix between broadway and contemporary and this is what I want to see in this movie. I don't want a movie that sells out in order to get money for pop-fans and I also don't want a musical style one because Disney rarely pulls off a musical. Hoping for something more like Beauty and the Beast and HoND.

But that was the whole point of Rapunzel wasn't it, that she wasn't quite like the other princesses that had gone before her; she was flawed. She had an overbite, sight duck feet, freckles...she wasn't supposed to be stunning like the other princesses, and I suppose not having the broadway voice was part of that, and for me, her charm.

Oh you guys should know that I despise Tangled. The story was fantastic, but was ruined by several characters. I hate the horse.
I love Princess and the Frog, and Brave is my all time favorite movie.

I agree entierely with Atlantis!

I really have a huge feeling that Frozen will have the best Disney soundtrack in years. Listen to parts of Let It Go:

Sounds very promising, esepecially when it's written for Idina Menzel's powerful voice. Plus, there are big Broadway stars here and the guy writing the songs is a 2-time Tony winning songwriter, who did great works in his shows. How can this be bad? I smell a Oscar for LIG.

And I realized this:

They didn't entirely removed everything from TSQ in Frozen. Yesterday, I remembered: TSQ had trolls. And guess what? Frozen has trolls. Yes, they’re ice trolls. But, better than no trolls. And I think it’s possible that they kept the mirror. It would be like Beauty and the Beast. Elsa sees the world from the mirror. Or the trolls kidnap Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf and they learn that the mirror can somehow remove the powers from Elsa, so they steal it.

And it’s also possible that Elsa kidnaps Kristoff. Honestly, if they keep the kidnapping and the mirrors (along with trolls and the reindeer, etc.), there’s nothing really to complain about. They kept the basic plot (The SQ kidnaps the boy, the girl goes find him), but made huge changes in the process. I hope this is true!
