HA! Their fault! It's unfair that they're giving other countries footage and more info when they're treating us like dirt to cater 5 year old boys. We've been waiting as long as they are So, bring on the leaks! That'll teach them to be equal.

The first actual trailer for the film will be out before you know it, and it's a much better look at the story. In fact it actually tells you what the story is. It fleshes out the narrative and lets you get to get a better look at the world and who lives in it. For those that wanted a real look at the film, you'll be pleasantly surprised.
This actual trailer won't leave so many in the cold...
That sounds positive, though I wonder if this trailer will mention the fact that Frozen is a musical.
I don't have the link here, but there is a strange tweet from Jennifer Lee saying that we, french people, will soon have the same trailer than japan ( in french of course)...
Wouldn't surprise me. Within Europe, France was always the country which got most often the special treatment. French people also seem to appreciate animation as art more than any other western society. Seems like a logical step.

It better be bigger. You gave Japan footage already and we Americans are waiting so patiently. It's at least you can do.
The fall? What's the point then? A trailer about a month before release. But hey, we're sure to get more leaks til release
It will probably be in September, which was also when we got the full trailers for The Princess and the Frog, The Muppets, Tangled and Wreck-It Ralph. So, par for the course for Disney's big November release. I'm guessing it will first show up in front of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2.

@estefan-That's exactly what I am thinking! And it's July and 2013 has gone by too quickly, so this isn't that long of a wait. Meanwhile, BRING ON THE LEAKS!

And then the immediate retraction of any leaks !!!!

Because they deserve them too, you know?
Sorry, I wasn't been specfic. I meant: Why give the others fantastic things while we, USA, get little to none? And i'm so sorry if I have been a whiny brat since Tuesday. I just feel so bad that the others get a LOT from the characters and the story while Disney is trying to be hip and cool to please little kids and they hardly give it to us And then they blame the box office $$ on princesses stories and 2D while they put their movies at the same time of BLOCKBUSTER hits like Avatar and HP. Gee, Disney, guess who will do a lot better? If Disney planned better, this wouldn't be happening. Sorry for ranting.
Oh my God, can we PLEASE stop rewriting Avatar's history???
Avatar's first image was released on August 14, 2009 and the first trailer on August 20, 2009. Everyone was expecting it to flop because of the lack of promotion. Frozen started its promotion early compared to Avatar.
And The Princess and the Frog was NOT competing with the same target demo as Avatar and it was NOT released on the same weekend. In November of 2009 Avatar was not the #1 film of all time and no one knew it was going to be.
Might be interesting to do a study what effect the timing of the marketing has to do with films' financial performance. Do films with early marketing really perform better?
