Source: https://twitter.com/Warren_Spector/stat ... 8804851712Q: Disney says its never been good at video games, remains happy with EA’s work.
Warren Spector: Huh. I guess I should be insulted when Robert Iger says Disney has never been good at video games, but I’ll just take the high road and stand proud with the Epic Mickey team and laud them for the great work they - we - did for Disney.
Source: https://twitter.com/Warren_Spector/stat ... 2979800064Q: Had there been an epic Mickey 3, what would the premise be?
Warren Spector: I’d rather not say too much, but I wanted Epic Mickey 3 to include a lot of musical gameplay. That was my hope anyway. Interactive music in the context of a story-based game could have been cool.
Source: https://twitter.com/Warren_Spector/stat ... 1727909888Q: If you could answer that question by giving me any hints or ifras as to what DEM3 was going to be about.
Warren Spector: I don’t talk much about Epic Mickey 3 - games change a lot between idea and release - but I thought about it a lot. Let’s just say I wanted to take the idea of an interactive Oswald and Mickey musical to a whole new level. Leave it at that.

Warren Spector: I’ve never talked much about Epic Mickey 3 - the Mickey Mouse game that wasn’t. I still have hopes of making a game that incorporates some of the features I was thinking about. I will say music was going to be REALLY important. And Wasteland was getting tired as a setting...

Warren Spector: I definitely had plans for an Epic Mickey 3 - nothing fully fleshed out, but a high level concept and some ideas for new gameplay features. It would have followed DEM2, but wouldn't have required any prior knowledge.
