I baked my very first pie a week ago. It was called Brownie Walnut Pie and was from a Better Homes and Gardens cookbook. The crust was very hard and tasteless, and the filling was too chewy. But I've learned some new crust-making tips and will do better next time.

Even though I said it's not for Post Counts anymore, this is coincidentally my 1100th post on UD!
But the REAL milestone I'm gonna celebrate here is that I survived working at Magic Kingdom on the Fourth of July! It was fun, I was stocking, so I had to push out drink orders to wagons and got to stick my hands into the ice-cold ice to put in and take out drinks.
And...saw two celebrities on the fouth. Roger Clemmons (who we actually saw backstage), and Andy Lawrence, who I accidentally hit with my drink wagon while pushing it backstage.

EDIT: and my 488th
Hmm. . . to get back on topic. . . what have I accomplished lately?
Well, I've been drawing a lot more than normal, so I guess that's a good thing.
This is a little accomplishment... but I just moved on to my third page on DVD spot!! In less than 5 months I've collected over 50 DVDs!

LOL, I was "Who???" for Roger Clemmons. Apparently he's a sports person, basketball I think.JiminyCrick91 wrote:um sorry for asking but who and who?Escapay wrote:

And ANDY LAWRENCE is the youngest of the LAWRENCE brothers. You know...Brotherly Love, Horse Sense, Jumping Ship, Boy Meets World, The Other Me...
And everyone, let's all remember this is not for post-counts, as Jiminy re-stated. Granted, it was a "coincidence" that my 1100th post was also my Milestone Thread post, but, hey, I created this thread so I can make the rules and break them if I want, lol.
So now, a new rule: You can only post a "post count milestone" if it's above 10,000.

Not necessarily a milestone but more of a threadbumping, but I survived the WDW College Program and came home on Friday night. So far, I've slept in until noon, played some volleyball, basketball, did some canoeing, went to Sam's Club and did grocery shopping (and got my pictures developed, woot!), and strangely, have not bought a DVD since last Thursday.

Hey I work at Sam's Club. It's great especially on Sunday, the busiest day.Escapay wrote:So far, I've slept in until noon, played some volleyball, basketball, did some canoeing, went to Sam's Club and did grocery shopping (and got my pictures developed, woot!), and strangely, have not bought a DVD since last Thursday.
Well I bought a car all by myself, I guess that could be considered a milestone. It's a '97 Ford Probe GT. I couldn't really afford a 2005 Mustang GT ($27,000) so really this car was the next best thing. I was thinking about trading it in and get an 80's 5.0 Mustang. But those cars aren't the best looking yet powerful and it's a Stang. Actually all cars during that decade didn't really appeal to me either.
Well, when I entered here I thought first: "geez...are they really gonna stop counting our posts?!
"
Then I found all the pies and cars stuff and I felt better
Anyway, about pies the best is the lemon pay or the cheese pie.
'Bout cars,Ï have a 350Z
But I really hate that color now, so I´m saving to change it to a metalic blue or something

Psssh, Nissons.
I'm sorry my freinds got me thinking that all foriegn cars especially Japanese cars suck. However, I think differently. I mean what kind of car won the Indy 500 this year? A Honda. Now Honda's their body styles are eeewwww but they have very good engines. For instance, the Element and the Sicon, talk about nothing but a box on wheels. Ugly, just plan ugly! You see I think a car like the Corvette should have fine curves like a beatiful young lady.
I like Nissons especially the 350z, they have a nice body style and they get pretty good power. If I was gonna get a Nisson that's what I would get. I also like Mitsu's, BMW's, and Audi's. I like Ferrai's too but the Ferrai Enzo is like $2 Million brand new. So I a long way from that.
In conclusion, I grew up with Ford's and I'm gonna stick to them. Unless gas is like $5.00 per gallon then I'll be forced to buy a Honda.
PS- Don't tell my friends about this. Shhhhhh.
