I think the picture is great, can't wait to see it a little larger. I think Julianne Moore was a great choice for Ariel too. Can't wait to see more of these, such great pictures.

Oh god, thanks so much, Widdi and evieelizabeth!

Although not as spectacular as say, Phillip, Snow White or Cinderella, this one certainly is a lot better than Alice in Wonderland, The Sword in the Stone, Pocahontas, etc. The colors are mesmerizing, and the castle is spot-on. In fact, this portrait is almost exactly what I've been imagining for several months already, and I'm so glad it's finally here. The tagline for this one is Where another world is just a wish away, according to the official site. ;) Thanks again!

This picture is just perfect ! I think it is one of the best that she has done. Now that i think about it, Julianne Moore is the perfect choice for Ariel. I dont think I could have thought of anyone better. She looks perfectly if she were Ariel in live action. The colours, mood and tone are just perfect. Spot on for the whole thing !

I can't think of anyone else for Aurora other than Keira Knightley. She will be perfect; and considering her involvement with the Disney Company, (4 movies), do you think they would ask her? She has worked with Annie before as well.

My personal favourite is still Rachel Weiz as Snow White. That one was just perfect in my opinion.

Could anyone post all the pictres in one post so we can all see them together, and compare them ? I would, but I havnt saved all of them sadly, and stupidly.

I think it's perfact :D I really love it :D (take a look at my siggy and avater).
My favorite thing about it is the castle :D Ariel is perfact :D.
I also whould love to see Aurora (maybe dancing with the animales as Briar Rose?),Belle and the Beast,Giselle,Tarzan,Hercules,Mulan and Jack Skellington.
My favorite one is the Ariel one :D I also love the Aladdin and Jasmine and Snow White one but Aladdin and Jasmine doesn't looks like their film versions (Espcially Jennifer Lopez as Jasmine,Jasmine should have long hair),Genie is supposed to be a guy but the picture is good :D.

LOL that's what I've been saying forever ! But if they wanted her to be Aurora she'll have to bleach her hair again, so I'm thinking maybe Belle might be a better option, but maybe Eva Green would be better as Belle in the yellow dress since she's French and equally beautiful to Keira.

Hmm, she would have to dye her hair again, and she doesnt like being blonde. Wig? That could be possible.

She is so associated with Disney; kids all over the world know her as Elizabeth Swann. She would be a perfect representative of the company I think.

Yeah, her hair needs to be puffy and longer, small kids watch Pirates Of The Caribbean or people have gone way too far with Disney streoptyps? :?.
And about Ariel-the tagline Where another world is just a wish away is perfact for Ariel :D.

I really like this picture.

I never would have thought Julianne Moore would work as Ariel, but she does! They should have done something with Eric in it, though.

I think Julianne Moore is a little bit too old tbh. A big part of Ariel's character is her naïvity through youth and you'd never know looking at that picture.

Too bad they can't redo Alice, would've been awesome to see Hadyen Pattienere be Alice, she would've been perfect.

Wow, that picture is great!!!! Hopefully they have a few more they will release.

Any ways does anyone know where to get a high res version of these pics with the Disney sayings on them?

Actually I don't think that this campaign is aimed for anyone, maybe people who like celebrities.
Snow White's hair is werid but the picture is great.
The Alice one isn't pretty.
The Cinderella picture doesn't reminds me of Cinderella, and even the Ariel that more reminds me of live actions films about merpeople then Disney's The Little Mermaid does give me the feeling of the film (The castle really helpes).
Agrabah looks werid in the Aladdin and Jasmine picture.

I'm not particularly fond of the Little Mermaid pic...

For anyone interested in the hi-res, here is the direct link. The way PRNewswire.com set up the photos is really weird...

I saw this today... Miley's okay, Disney will back her up, but since Annie took the pictures... But I haven't really heard anything about her on the news, I've just heard Disney is mad at Vanity Fair.

It might be possible we've seen the last of these Disney Dream Portraits, or Disney will just overlook it.

I find it funny that people are making a stink over her showing no more skin than she would have in a backless dress/shirt or a bathing suit.

Parents these days are way oversensitive. "OH NOES! HANNA MONTANNAS SHOWED HER BACK SKIN! NOW MY BRAINLESS CHILD THAT MUST BE PROTECTED FROM THE REAL WORLD WILL WANT TO TOO! THIS BE AN OUTRAGE!"

Gimme a break...

Now if Miley was doing a center spread fro Playboy, there may be some concern there, but this? This is what people get mad at now? Pretty soon those 1840 fashions are gonna come back to make sure no skin except your hands and face are showing.

I agree,Widdi, this is nonsense ,what's so bad about this? :?.
Parents? they also have comments on this? this is silly :? oh sure, they can go with them to Pirates Of The Caribbean but their children can't see a back skin,oh no! you already buy them thing of Ariel and Jasmine (With Ariel only wearing sea shells and Jasmine isn't dressed well) but their children can't see Hannah Montana with back skin   .
But why do they need this picture? does this picture is a part of those Dream Portraits?.
