I so love not being spoiled by spoilers! Nora getting shot totally surprised me. And damn, the scene that followed had my heart racing. I was sure Lynette was going to bite the big one. And I really got all emotional as if she were one of my loved ones. Hands down this is the first time I've ever felt such real emotions as a viewer. Felicity is amazing beyond words, and she better win next year's Emmy. She truly deserves it. This episode has been incredible and is definitely on my list of favourites along side many other classics.

Edit: My heart is still racing and 15 minutes have gone by! :D

Another great episode of Desperate Housewives, tonight. I didn't know if they would be able to keep it as interesting, tonight, after the awesome episode last Sunday night. It turned out to be very interesting.

The arrival of Orson's mother, Gloria, was great. Played by the fabulous Dixie Carter, she was very manipulative, and provided even more mystery for the whole Orson/Alma/Monique story. She is keeping some deep dark secret, that she could easily tell Bree. However, she's going to hold this over his head, to get her way.

The new neighbor, Art, is settling in to the old Young house. Hmmm. He seemed to be such a hero, until Lynette found the room that had pictures of little boys, without their shirts on, pasted up on the wall. Yes, he's a swim coach, but, why would he keep their pictures plastered up on the wall? He had tons of toys, and a train that went throughout the house. It's a kids playland! So, yet another mystery to figure out.

Apparently, Gabrielle and Carlos went through with the divorce. She's now a free woman, who wants to get back into modeling. However, the modeling world seems to have left her behind. Her first gig, back on the job? Modeling as a mother. She didn't want to have anything to do with it, and in the end, she decided she didn't want to model, after all.

Julie and Austin were discovered making out on Susan's couch. Susan calls for back-up, and here comes Karl. However, after speaking with Austin, he comes down on Susan for dating Ian. He tell Susan that she is not allowed to continue seeing Ian, which infuriates Susan. Julie is certainly turning away from her "good girl" role.

Mike is finally home from the hospital, and Edie is playing the "good little wife" role. Susan seems to still be longing for Mike. Oh, and the cops showed up to search his house. They feel that Mike had something to do with the death of Monique. They were looking for his toolbox, which they couldn't find. In the end, Mrs. McCluskey comes over to Mike's, carrying the toolbox. She tells Mike that she owed him a favor, since he had helped her, before, when she had an angina attack. She tells him that he might want to clean off his wrench, because it has a little something on it. Even more fuel for the fire.

This season continues to be great! I can't wait until next week!

Tonight's episode of DH was good ... but not great ... I don't think anything yet ... will be able to topple over last week's wonderful episode ...

Gloria was great ... every scene with Dixie was so much fun to watch ... and I'm glad she will be sticking around for a little while ...

The Monique Mystery is getting better and better ... a plumbing tool was used in her murder ... and the cops think it's Mike!

Gloria is holding a deep dark secret from Orson ... and that is why she was sent to an old folk's home ... and why she and Orson have been quarreling ...

And ... Lynette's hero seems to be a pedophile ... I don't think there is that much of a mystery in that LOL ... He has a kid's playland ... and pictures of shirtless little boys ... Can somebody say Neverland and Michael Jackson? LOL

I bet Lynette was glad she made that cake ...

PS :: The little girl that went to sell magazine subscriptions to Gaby was sooooo frickin' adorable!

I am not saying that Art appearing to be a pedophile is a mystery. I'm saying, it seems we have another mystery on our hands, as to why he is there, and what his whole connection will be. You can't move to Wysteria Lane, without there being some mystery, right? ;)

Wow. This episode was go-od.

Bree seems to be pulling the wool over her own eyes. I think she knows Orson isn't being completely honest with her, but she's pushing that disbelief to the back of her head.
I wonder what the secret is. I don't think Orson killed his wife, but there are worse things than murder.

...which brings me to the new neighbor. Creepy beyond belief. The guy is a pedophile! I never saw that coming, but once they found that room, I was like "Bam! Child molester!" (Those Law and Order SVU reruns really pay off) I'm not sure he'll have a mystery other than no one else knows what his past0time entails. I wonder if people will believe Lynette.

Susan finally got what she deserved for going out with Ian. Carl called her out on it and I am glad he did. And now with Mike back, I hope she'll see that British cheeseball like the cheating insect he is.
I feel for Julie. This Austin guy doesn't seem like the most faithful guy in the world. I see Julie getting a rude awakening.

Gabby is losing steam. I was surprised by the lack of Carlos in this episode, and I hope that doesn't continue. Their on-screen chemistry is what carries their storyline. They need to get back together and have a kid. Also...I am waiting for Gabby's involvement in a major mystery-plotline. So far in the show, they've just had their own storylines. Lets get them involved!! They could make Monique a model aquaintance of Gabby's from days past and maybe that could lead to her being a suspect in her murder...

Next week's episode looks like this one: 75% filler and 25% new info.
:pan: Love It.

Hi! It's just me, with my two cents.

I think you are forgetting this a soap opera, and they don't move very fast in storyline. If you were paying attention a whole week had passed since the shooting.

Remember this is just a television show, and it is also one of the best written, most cleverly arranged, soap operas on the air today. We have a lot of weeks for storylines to develop and change, and then we get to the season ending cliffhanger, that we can all discuss over the summer. The is about the only difference in DH and the daytime dramas, the daytime ones don't have reruns, and have two major storylines a year, along with a few little ones to keep things interesting.

DH will be around for a couple more years and I am sure that we will get to see some pretty outrageous things go on in that time. Just don't expect it to move like a sportcar, when it is built to move more like a big bulky SUV.

Tonight's episode was awesome! I hated the ending though. Pretty disturbing stuff if you ask me. Just like numba1lostboy, I knew he would turn out to be a pedophile after Parker walked into that room. I really hope it turns out to be something totally different, but I don't see how that would be possible.

Overall, Bree had the best storyline tonight. I really want Orson to do something that angers his mother so that we can find out what she was threatening to tell Bree. This is gonna be good!

Hmm...the new neighbor a pedophile? I don't know, but if they can get away with Tom actually having a secret love child, then they can get away with an outrageous explanation for this. Like, perhaps he has coached a long-running boys swim team, and after meets, they have parties at his house (hence the toys) and then they put pictures of the meets on the wall (hence why all the boys are in bathing suits). Hey, it could happen....right?

This is very true, and something which I thought about after watching the episode. For one thing, it's a little too obvious that they introduced that so quickly. So, perhaps they are setting us up to believe he is a pedophile, and, in the end, it comes out that this is simply not the case. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Gabi and Carlos?

Post by Jasmine1022 »

:? just me, a random forum member with comments.

1) Gabi and Carlos decided to get back together. Did they not? Maybe that was a mistake on my part. So I was utterly shocked when Carlos was not there on this episode.

2) Gabi is gorgeous. How could they make her be the mom? Idk that just bothered me a little.

3) Someone is going to die off the show this season. That's no big news... and considering Gabi and Carlos are over, and nothing is really happening to Gabi, I think maybe it's time to get unattached.

4) Somebody ALSO gets pregnant this season, and it's NOT Bree. A lot of people thought the writers would write Marcia's pregnancy into the story line but they already had someone else get pregnant so it's going to be a lot of head shots for now on. A few people think it's Gabi, but she can't have children, so that's obviously not it. My personal guess is either Susan and Ian or Mike and Edie.

5) If this guy is a pedophile, I'm going to scream. There has to be someone who is normal. SOMEONE!! I really hope he's not some creepy guy thats going to molest Parker. That's just sick, and poor Parker, too... he's so afraid for Lynette :(

Alright, enough of my yapping... just some comments!!

When do you guys start preparing your Christmas cards? It seemed like a MAJOR goof to have Bree even considering doing that. I know they said it wasn't even Thanksgiving but even if it's a few weeks / a month or so before Thanksgiving that's still a huge goof! The season premiere started around Christmas time (with the whole Lynette-Tom-Nora picture scenario).

I'm pretty sure they were just taking there picture early. There might have even been a line about them taking it so early. Can anyone confirm?

A) I know that Nora died. But I read online somewhere (i didnt save the site sorry :( ) that one of the housewives dies.

B) I was watching an episode of some show on TV back at the beginning of the season that had Marcia Cross on it (it may have been The View) and they asked her if they were going to write in her pregnancy. She said no because someone else was already going to get pregnant.

C) In regards to the Christmas cards thing-- she's Bree. She's an overacheiver. She was putting confetti in her cards for goodness sake!!!!

Oh ok ... and WOW LOL ... that is some new info that I didn't know ...

I don't think the season started around Christmas time ... They were taking the pics early ... and I do think there was a line about that ...

What I find odd about DH is that the only holiday we have seen celebrated is Valentine's Day ... Three seasons and no Christmas ... Halloween ... or Thanksgiving yet ...

Well we did have that episode where Zack busted into Bree's and put up the Xmas decorations ... but no true Christmas episode :(

Desperate Housewives just keeps getting better! Another excellent episode, tonight.

Gabrielle's divorce is final, and she's bored. She ends up teaching young girls the tricks of modeling. In fact, she teaches them too much.

Lynette goes to the police about Art. Later, Parker goes missing, and Lynette fears the worst. Confronting Art, Lynette finally reveals what she has seen to Art, who claims that he donated all of the stuff to a children's hospital. Lynette still doesn't trust him.

Mike is apparently having financial troubles, and Edie is trying to help him. However, Mike's mind is somewhere else. Carlos claims to have been Mike's best friend, and asks Mike if he can move in, until his condo is finished. Later, Tom comes over, and they all watch football. Mike asks them how he used to be, and they tell him he was mysterious and dark.

Gloria continues to make Orson uneasy. She begs them to let her have her own house, and Orson is all for it. However, Bree doesn't like it, and insists that Gloria stay with them, so they can keep an eye on her. After Andrew brought wine to Gloria (for which Andrew charged her money), Bree finds her drunk. Orson comes in, and Gloria reveals to Bree that Orson cheated on Alma, with Monique. This enrages Orson, and Bree runs out of the house. In the end, Bree throws Orson out of the house, saying that he scares her.

Mike, apparently doubting himself, and feeling that he had something to do with the death of Monique, ends up going into the woods to bury the toolbox that Mrs. McCluskey brought back to him. As he is digging, the investigator shines a flashlight on his face, and says "I'll be taking those".

The mystery continues to deepen, and I can't believe they are bringing so many straight episodes of the show, without taking a break! This season, in my opinion, is just as good as season one!

This episode was pretty good.

Lynette, Lynette, Lynette...
I really wonder what will happen. It looks like she could be wrong about Art's "hobby," but we all know that it's never that simple. The woman in the wheelchair is his sister, right? I wonder if she knows about Art's "hobby."
I know this is off-topic a little, but I cannot stand the Scavo children. They are so incredibly whiney and I want to scream at them. I don't know if it's the actors or the characters, but UGH.

Speaking of UGHs, I cannot believe Cherry is expecting viewers to sympathize with Susan against the butler. Agreed, the butler is a bit of a jerk, but he is right. Ian is married. And the whole business about "you don't have to forget her to invite me in"...is she trying to make herself sound cheap?

Bree's storyline was intense. I love Orson's mother. She's so sadistic! I was surprised she revealed Orson's secret so fast. I wonder what explaination he'll cook up.
Andrew surprised me, too. I thought he was changing...disappointment.

Mike was confusing. It looked to me that when he looked at his toolcase, he remembered something. Same with when he saw his reflection in his rearview mirror. And was he burying something or digging something up?
I'm befuddled.

Gabby was the sole comic relief tonight. I thought it was great how she mistakenly told all those modelling secrets tot he kids. The only thing I didn't like was that the moms didn't like how Gabby was giving the girls unhealthy views on their body images, just to sell out for diet pills. Great role models, they are.

Next week looks cool.
:pan: Love It.

He was burying the toolbox. That's why the investigator said, "I'll be taking those."
