But if you ask me, I like the mirror and the treasure keeper thing best.

All the toys were in surprise bags, and there were 101 to collect the first time, 102 the second time! I have no clue how many I have from each time (though my aunt gave me many of them).
Guess what? I got all 101 of the first set....we would go to McDonalds at night and trade with people. It was really pretty fun..you would have to feel the bags and guess which one you were getting. But not long ago I sold the entire set on Ebay. I'm starting to regret that :( I also sold the treasure chest of the gold 1997 (or was it '98) Little Mermaid toys.

All the new The Little Mermaid toys are very girl like and childish...why can't they be action figures and not women stuff.

Oh well at least little girls will be happy with these toys.

Awesome that you got all those but a shame you ended up selling them! Hope you got some good money! I'm kind of thinking of parting with some of my older, worn out Disney toys right now myself, mainly to make more space for my growing DVD collection. Don't know if I'll be able to part with anything though. But, I figure that someday, when I have my own place and more space, I'll be able to find that stuff in new condition on Ebay if I want it back.

I can confirm that the toys are a locket and some other things. I was at McDonalds today with my two nieces, my sister in law and my brother. And the girls got a locket toy that opens and ther's a little mirror inside.
Disney Channel died when they stopped airing movies with Haley mills (Parent Trap and Pollyanna) and fun adventure movies like Swiss Family Robinson. R.I.P. the REAL Disney Channel. Date of Death: When the shows became teenie bopperish.

Yep, that's the one that I got today. Doesn't quite sound like it does in the movie....but I 100% agree with your description of it, Dave.

Yea, you can hear it on the site too. Be sure to play the game on the site for a wallpaper. My best time is 15 seconds.

I agree with almost everyone, those toys look HORRIBLE! I'll still probably buy the DVD though. And that comment about the talking toy cracked me up.

Ha, I listened to that talking one on the website, and it made me want to pick it up! That is hilarious! I doubt I will though. The only other tempting thing is the treasure box, but it's not tempting enough. And I used to want ANYTHING of Ariel, but this stuff is mostly too girly and I need to be choosey when it means I have to eat McDonald's food. Not that I don't like it, but ya never know how it's going to be. A hot, juicy cheeseburger from a happy meal can be delish, but a cold one... yuck.

Oh, but one place, I think it's Wendy's, is going to have some NICE Charlie Brown and Snoopy toys soon! Well, they look like little plush toys, but I only saw 4 (on their site, clicking on the "coming soon" section of the kids' meal section). They had Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Woodstock, and Snoopy laying on his belly! I do want those!

Is it just me or has there been alot more promotional material for this Platinum? We've gotten mcdonalds tie-ins, and Ive seen tons of bilboards and Commercials. I'm not complaining, but I just noticed that they never had all this for the other Platinums. Kinda wish they had all this for Lady and the Tramp, I would have been in my glory!
