Gosh ... what the hell was that though ...
"Oh ... she's trying to seduce your husband? You should have told me" ...
BANG!
Right near the heart.
Whoa! ... Carolyn is hardcore!

Well it looks like we all guessed right..............it was Nora that got it. But wheat we didn't think would happen was Carolyn would also be a victim. Two down and it is all on Bree's hands now. If she hadn't opened her big mouth to Carolyn about Monique - then she wouldn't have gone to the market to get her husband.
It was hilarious at Bree's house where all she could think about was she was running out of food. "Pell a clove, Orson"...........this is great!!!!!
What a great storyline...............and we know that it is only going to get better.
Yeah for Season Three of Desperate Housewives................this is getting good.

Oh my effing garsh! Holy crap! I'm still catching my breath thirteen minutes later!
Oh dear God, where to begin? Well, this episode is probably the best in the series so far!
I had a feeling that Nora was gonna be the one to get shot, but I didn't expect it to happen so abruptly. I feel so bad for her daughter. And poor Lynette, injured and now with five kids!
Jeez! I didn't think I could hate Laurie Metcalf's Caroline as much as I did when the episode was reaching its end. It was one of the most satisfying feelings I have ever felt when the new neighbor threw that paint can right into her head, and then Edie's nephew went in for the take-down. And don't even get me started on when the trigger finally pulled on Caroline.
This is TV at its best!
I like the idea of the person who killed Caroline being the mother of one of her Sunday School students. But when the did the slow pan-around, I was really hoping it was Edie. Or even better Mrs. McClusky (that would have rocked so much!). Or perhaps that could have been a vehicle to get Felicia Tillman back on the show. Oh well. Still the greatest episode of DH ever!

WOW! This episode set a truly high standard for the rest of the season ... This has been the most suspenseful hour of television ... I was so worried for all that were in that hostage situation ...
And it all started off with a truth being told ...
After being sick and tired of Carolyn's allegations ... Bree decided to give her a taste of her own medicine ... She informed Carolyn of Harvey's indiscretions with a certain redheaded woman named Monique ...
Well ... that set in motion the dreaded situation at the grocery store on that beautiful Friday afternoon ...
Julie ... Austin ... Edie ... Nora ... Lynette ... and Harvey were all hostages ...
Susan ... Tom ... and Ian waited outside in the parking lot ...
And all of Wisteria Lane made it to Bree's home to watch the sordid affair on television ... Why do you ask? As Ida said "I knew she would have food" LOL
After all the drama happened ... what were the results?
Nora was shot ... and died in the grocery store ...
Lynette was shot on her upper arm ... (she was saved from a worse outcome by her new neighbor) ...
Carlos and Gaby made peace ...
and Austin and Julie developed a deep connection ...
Oh ... and ummm ... Carolyn got a bullet to her skull ... I will miss you Laurie! (Let's hope for some flashbacks in future eps)
Coming up ...
Dixie as Momma Hodge ...
Julie and Austin getting caught ...
and Gaby going back to being a model.

BEST. EPISODE. EVER.
Amazing. How are they ever going to top this, I don't know? I have faith that they will, but, this episode had it all!
Words can't even describe how I felt watching this episode. I was so emotional, so tense, so involved.
I can say that I'm glad Nora is gone. I couldn't stand her! I am sad that she had to die, and, her last scene with Lynette was very touching. I'm just so glad that Lynette is not the one who was killed. I have to give it up to the entire cast. They did an incredible job in their roles. Felicity Huffman is AMAZING, and she had better be nominated, and WIN for Best Actress, next year, in whatever catagory they decide to put Desperate Housewives in.
I, too, am going to miss Laurie Metcalf. She has such a talent. She can do whatever the role calls for. She really hit it out of the ball park, with this episode. What a way for her to go! I did not realize that her real life husband, Matt Roth, was also Fisher on Roseanne. On that show, Laurie Metcalf's character, Jackie, dated Fisher. In the end, it was found out that Fisher had been abusing Jackie. Anyway, it's sad that Laurie wasn't on Desperate Housewives longer. I really enjoyed her.
It looks as if this tragedy is finally going to bring Carlos and Gabrielle back together. What a mess they made of their house, in this episode.
Here we go with Julie. She's now in a downward slide, with that hunky Austin. Who can blame her?
WOW. All I can really say to sum it up is WOW. This is why I watch Desperate Housewives. It's just great television!

HOLY S***!
This episode was nothing more than amazing. At the end, my eyes rained tears.
Tonight is proof why Lynette is my favorite. When she and Nora were talking and when she went crazy at Carolyn, I was so proud and so scared all at the same time. I love you, Felicity Huffman.
Tom was really good tonight too. Although, I really wish we would have seen Lynette tell him what happned. His reaction would have been nice.
Poor Bree. Now's she's going to feel so guilty. But Carolyn would have found out anyway. And I really think Orson is lying through his teeth.
Susan's storyline was, yet again, the worst. Leave it to her to ruin perfectly good suspense with a stupid, assanine stunt like trying to contact Carolyn.
And, on a picky sidenote, the emotion in Susan and Julie's reunion was very underplayed. I was expecting more from a mother who thought her final words to her daughter were "I am so disappointed in you."
Gabby and Carlos were good. I really hope they both have stopped their conniving now. It seems like Gabby was really heartfelt in what she said.

Laurie's hubby is also the new neighbor that purchased the Young house ... that threw the can of peaches at her head LOL
Poor Carolyn ... you will be missed ... even though you are kinda crazy LOL
I hope Laurie gets nominated for an Emmy for guest-star ...

Granny Hodge looks like she might finally tip Bree over the fence on her doubts on Orson. The man is creepy scum.Rowlf_The_Dog wrote: Coming up ...

Julie, Julie, Julie...I am disappointed. She's totally giving Susan what Susan accused her of today.
Gabby going into modelling looks hilarious. I really hope she and Carlos make it up to them.
But where is the recuperation from tonight's episode. If I had just undergone something like that, I would need an episode to get over it.

It couldn't have been Mrs. McC cuz if I'm not mistaken ... she was at Bree's ...
and they aren't bringing Felicia back because Paul is in jail for her murder ... if she ever shows her face again ... Paul would be set free ... and that's not what she wants ...

I never said I thought it was gonna be Mrs. McClusky, but that it would have been the best thing ever if it was! And I just thought it would have been cool if it was Felicia, but there was no chance of that.Rowlf_The_Dog wrote:I thought it was going to be Edie too ...lord-of-sith wrote:But when the did the slow pan-around, I was really hoping it was Edie. Well it was said that Orson has her hiding away in some retirement home or hospital ... something like that ...numba1lostboy wrote: Granny Hodge looks like she might finally tip Bree over the fence on her doubts on Orson. But I am still trusting Orson ... I don't think he is as bad as they are making him seem ...
Julie ... gosh ... she is definitely giving into temptation ...
I am all for a Gaby/Carlos reunion ... but in this week's TV Guide they listed a new male star joining DH as a possible love interest for Gaby ... I can't remember the actor's name ...

I wouldn't count on never seeing her again. Maybe not anytime soon, but nothing is ever over in this show.Rowlf_The_Dog wrote: and they aren't bringing Felicia back because Paul is in jail for her murder ... if she ever shows her face again ... We still have no idea where Zach is. Maybe he'll be back soon and he, Julie, and Austin (ugh) will form a love triangle.
Where did Felicia go? Maybe she went somewhere significant.
And Paul could be released on parole by some wierd turn of events. Or he could escape to find Felicia or Paul.
And what about Mike?? His memories could bring something up, too.

I agree ...
I didn't mean never never LOL ...
I meant it as in ... she wouldn't just show up to shoot Carolyn in the head LOL ...
She isn't trying to come back and show her face and let Paul off the hook for her "murder" LOL
On this show ... you can bet your life that someone will always return at just the right moment ...

You know what I wish would happen ...
That Susan's mom and step-dad would move into Wisteria Lane ... cuz you kno they got lots and lots of homes for sale LOL ...
I really like Morty and Sophie ... Bob Newhart and Leslie Ann Warren are wonderful as Susan's parents ...
I think they would be really nice as a more recurring set of characters ... Sorta like Mrs. McC ... she pops in every couple of eps ...

OH. MY. GOSH.
THAT WAS, HANDS DOWN, THE BEST EPISODE EVER!
Felicity Huffman's performance was exceptional when she flipped out at Carolyn. Kudos to her for that one! It just seemed so real! When Nora was shot (which was completely unexpected), my heart literally started pounding! It was like I was in the store, watching all of this happen!
