Here are lyrics to two more songs.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

From the seventh track on the album, this is one of my favorites.

"Forbidden Love"

Just one kiss on my lips
was all it took to seal the future
Just one look from your eyes
was like a certain kind of torture

Once upon a time
there was a boy and there was a girl
Just one touch from your hands
was all it took to make me falter

Forbidden love, are we supposed to be together?
Forbidden love, forbidden love
Forbidden love, we save our destiny forever
Forbidden love, forbidden love

Just one smile on your face
was all it took to change my fortune
Just one word from your mouth
was all I needed to be certain

Once upon a time
there was a boy and there was a girl
Hearts that intertwine
they lived in a different kind of world

Forbidden love, are we supposed to be together
Forbidden love, forbidden love
Forbidden love, we save our destiny forever
Forbidden love, forbidden love

Just one kiss, just one touch, just one look

Forbidden love, are we supposed to be together
Forbidden love, forbidden love
Forbidden love, we save our destiny forever
Forbidden love, forbidden love

Forbidden love, are we supposed to be together?
Forbidden love, forbidden love
Forbidden love, we save our destiny forever
Forbidden love, forbidden love

Just one kiss, just one kiss, just one look, just one love
One...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

From the eighth track on the album, this has become one of my all time favorite Madonna songs. Fans of her Erotica album may notice that this song could have been placed on that album, as well.

"Jump"

(Spoken:)
There's only so much you can learn in one place
The more that I wait, the more time that I waste

I haven't got much time to waste
It's time to make my way
I'm not afraid of what I'll face
But I'm afraid to stay
I'm going down my own road
And I can make it alone
I'll work and I'll fight and
I'll find a place of my own

Are you ready to jump?
Get ready to jump
Don't ever look back, oh baby
Yes, I'm ready to jump
Just take my hands
Get ready to jump

We learned our lesson from the start, my sisters and me
The only thing you can depend on is your family
And life's gonna drop you down like the limbs of a tree
It sways and it swings and it bends until it makes you see

Are you ready to jump?
Get ready to jump
Don't ever look back, oh baby
Yes, I'm ready to jump
Just take my hands
Get ready to, are you ready?

(Spoken:)
There's only so much you can learn in one place
The more that you wait, the more time that you waste

I'll work and I'll fight, I'll find a place of my own
It sways and it swings and it bends until you make it your own

I can make alone (7x)

Are you ready to jump?
Get ready to jump
Don't ever look back, oh baby
Yes, I'm ready to jump
Just take my hands
Get ready to jump

Are you ready to jump?
Get ready to jump
Don't ever look back, oh baby
Yes, I'm ready to jump
Just take my hands
Get ready to, are you ready?

MadonnasManOne, Why are you posting the lyrics to the songs??

well w/e..........all I know is that i'm waiting for the LE, as well as the LE of Alanis' GH: "The Collection"

I like it very much, "HU" doesn't justify this album, it's not one of her best though.

I'm posting the lyrics to the songs, because I wanted to share them.

I can't wait for this album. I'm going to pick up the regular version on Tuesday, and then the LE in December.

I think once you have the album, and listen to it for a while, it will grow to be one of her best. It's an album that doesn't hit you instantly. Well, there are a few songs, such as "Get Together", "Forbidden Love", and "Jump" that were great, to me, from the first listen.

When you get the album, and listen to it a few times, let me know if you grow to love it more.

Thanks for posting that, Tu! I love it!

It looks like Best Buy, Circuit City, and K-Mart have Madonna's "Confessions On A Dance Floor" for $9.99. Target has it for $9.98, and Wal-Mart has it for $9.72. I can't wait for Tuesday!

Wal-Mart also advertises the Limited Edition for $25.88, but it is not out until December 13.

Here are the lyrics for the 9th track, "How High"

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"How High"

How high are the stakes
How much fortune can you make
How high are the stakes
How much fortune can you make

It's funny
I spent my whole life wanting to be talked about
I did it
Just about everything to see my name in lights

Was it all worth it
And how did I earn it
Nobody's perfect
I guess I deserve it

How high are the stakes
How much fortune can you make
Does this get any better
Should I carry on
Will it matter when I'm gone
Will any of this matter

It's funny
How everybody mentions my name
They're never very nice
I took it
Just about everything except my own advice

Was it all worth it
And how did I earn it
Nobody's perfect
I guess I deserve it

How high are the stakes
How much fortune can you make
(Nothing lasts forever)
Does this get any better
Should I carry on
Will it matter when I'm gone
(Doesn't make a difference)
Will any of this matter

How high, does it make a difference
Nothing lasts forever
Should I, will it matter when I'm gone
Will any of this matter

How high are the stakes
How much fortune can you make
Should I carry on
Will it matter when I'm gone

How high are the stakes
How much fortune can you make
Does this get any better
Should I carry on
Will it matter when I'm gone
Will any of this matter

How high are the stakes
(How high, does it make a difference)
Nothing lasts forever
Does this get any better
Should I carry on
(Should I, will it matter when I'm gone)
Does it make a difference
Will any of this matter
How high are the stakes
How much fortune can you make
Should I carry on
Will it matter when I'm gone

How high are the stakes
How much fortune can you make
Should I carry on
Will it matter when I'm gone

Here are the lyrics for the tenth track, "Isaac":

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Isaac"

Im nin'alu
Dal thae na di vim
Dal thae na di vim
Dal thae ma rom

Im nin'alu
Im nin'aaalu
Im nin'alu
Im nin'aaalu
Im nin'alu
Im nin'aaalu
Im nin'alu
Im nin'aaalu

Staring up into the heavens
In this hell that binds your hands
Will you sacrifice your comfort
Make your way in a foreign land

Wrestle with your darkness
Angels call your name
Can you hear what they're saying
Will you ever be the same

Mmm mm mm
Im nin'alu
Im nin'aaalu
Mmm mm mm
Im nin'alu
Im nin'aaalu

Remember, remember, never forget
All of your life has all been a test
You will find a gate that's open
Even though your spirit's broken

Open up my heart
And cause my lips to speak
Bring the heaven and the stars
Down to earth for me

Im nin'alu
Dal thae na di vim

Mmm mm mm
Im nin'alu
Im nin'aaalu
Mmm mm mm
Im nin'alu
Im nin'aaalu
Mmm mm mm
Im nin'alu
Im nin'aaalu
Mmm mm mm
Im nin'alu
Im nin'aaalu

El hai
El hai maromam 'al karuvim
Kolam baruchu ya'alu

Wrestle with your darkness
Angels call your name
Can you hear what they are saying
Will you ever be the same

Mmm mm mm
Im nin'alu
Im nin'aaalu
Mmm mm mm
Im nin'alu
Im nin'aaalu
Mmm mm mm
Im nin'alu
Im nin'aaalu
Mmm mm mm
Im nin'alu
Im nin'aaalu

El hai
El hai maromam 'al karuvim

(Yitzhak Sinwani spoken:)
The generous truly know
What will be given
If they don't stop, you know
The gates of heaven are always open
And there's this God in the sky and the angels
How they sit, you know, in front of the light
And that's what it's about

Here are the lyrics for the eleventh track, "Push". This is another favorite of mine, and could be a single:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Push"

You push me to go the extra mile
You push me when it's difficult to smile
You push me, a better version of myself
You push me, only you and no one else
You push me to see the other point of view
You push me when there's nothing else to do
You push me when I think I know it all
You push me when I stumble and I fall

Keep on pushin' like nobody

Every place I live, every mood I'm in
Everything I do, I owe it all to you
Every move I make, every step I take
Every thing I know, it's all because you push me

You push me when I don't appreciate
You push me not to lie and not to hate
You push me when I want it all to end
You push me when I really need a friend
You push me, all I wanna do is cry
You push me when it's time for me to try
You push me when I do it for myself
You push me, only you and no one else

Keep on pushin' like nobody

Every place I live, every mood I'm in
Everything I do, I owe it all to you
Every move I make, every step I take
Every thing I do, it's all because you push me

You push me

Keep on pushin' like nobody
Keep on, keep on

Every place I live (to go the extra mile)
Every mood I'm in (when it's difficult to smile)
Everything I do (a better version of myself)
I owe it all to you (only you and only you and only you)
Every move I make (to see the other point of view)
Every step I take (when there's nothing else to do)
Every thing I do (when I think I know it all)
It's all because you push me (only you and only you and only you)

Every place I live (to go the extra mile)
Every mood I'm in (when it's difficult to smile)
Everything I do (a better version of myself)
I owe it all to you (only you and only you and only you)
Every move I make (to see the other point of view)
Every step I take (when there's nothing else to do)
Every thing I do (when I think I know it all)
It's all because you push me

You push me

Here are the lyrics for the twelfth, and final track (until the LE is released). The track is called "Like It Or Not", and it is an awesome track, especially if you are a fan of Madonna.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Like It Or Not"

You can call me a sinner
But you can't call me a saint
Celebrate me for who I am
Dislike me for what I ain't
Put me up on a pedestal
Or drag me down in the dirt
Sticks and stones will break my bones
But your names will never hurt

I'll be the garden, you'll be the snake
All of my fruit is yours to take
Better the devil that you know
Your love for me will grow
Because

This is who I am
You can like it or not
You can love me or leave me
Cause I'm never gonna stop, no no

Cleopatra had her way
Matahari too
Whether they were good or bad
Is strictly up to you

Life is a paradox
And it doesn't make much sense
Can't have femme without the fatale
Please don't take offense

Don't let the fruit rot under the vine
Fill up your cup and let's drink the wine
Better the devil that you know
Your love for me will grow
Because

This is who I am
You can like it or not
You can love me or leave me
Cause I'm never gonna stop, no no, you know
This is who I am
You can like it or not
You can love me or leave me
Cause I'm never gonna stop, no no, you know

No no, you know
No no, you know
No no, you know
No no, you know

I'll be the garden, you'll be the snake
All of my fruit is yours to take
Better the devil that you know
Your love for me will grow
Because

This is who I am
You can like it or not
You can love me or leave me
Cause I'm never gonna stop, no no, you know
This is who I am
You can like it or not
You can love me or leave me
Cause I'm never gonna stop, no no, you know

No no, you know
No no, you know
No no, you know
No no, you know

Just to let you know something I have read.

According to Denise Neil in the Wichita Eagle, "Madonna's new album comes out Tuesday, and like most plagues it should be avoided...........If were 12 years younger I would have shot the person who said that, but I have listened to the new tracks and there is nothing new from the 'material girl', just her effort to try to appeal (read that appall) to her fans. Since changing her name to Esther she has branched out into all things Kaballah, and now she has the Jewish Anti-Defamation League after her for one of the songs on the new release called "Isaac"................................................She should try to appeal to her now 'older' audience and start making new music. This album is nothing new...............................it will probably be the worst reviewed new album release of 2005."

That is just part of her review, I have clipped a bit of it. But she is strongly against this new release.

As usual, I for one will not pay attention to any reviews, and get the CD fro my collection. After all, if they recall it because of the track "Isaac", maybe they will replace it with something that is better.

While not a slam dunk! I think the CD is definitely better than American Life but isn't better than Music! It really is a dance record, all songs blend easily and you really don't know where one song ends and another begins. It's OK. I LOVE Hung Up and Push! The others I can take or leave. I encourage all who are interested to buy, but only if you like dance music (those who go to clubs).....

On that note- I must say that if you want an album whose entirety is great, you must buy the re-release of Mariah Carey's album which is out today (a CD/DVD) version is also available. It comes with four new songs all of which are great: 'Don't Forget About Us', 'Makin' It Last All Night (What It Do)', 'So Lonely', and 'We Belong Together (Remix)'. Also included are other hits including, 'It's Like That', 'We Belong Together', 'Shake It Off', and International Hit, 'Get Your Number.'

Purchase both if you can, only Mariah's If you can't.

DVDJUNKIE, I must say that whoever wrote that review from Kansas, stands in the minority. I had read that review, and I can tell you, it's that the person dislikes Madonna, not the album. In fact, Confessions On A Dance Floor is one of the BEST reviewed albums of 2005, and one of the better reviewed albums of Madonna's career.

MutantEnemy: It's funny, but I had to pass on Mariah Carey, today. I thought about picking it up, but I've heard the whole CD, and while I like three songs on there, the rest of them do not appeal to me, much. It's not that I'm hating, so don't take it the wrong way. I'll just download the other two tracks that I like (I already have "We Belong Together") from iTunes. I would HIGHLY recommend Madonna's new album, and not just because I'm a fan of Madonna, but also because the music appeals to me. It is certainly dance music. So, yes, I guess if you hated dance music, then you wouldn't like the album.

Anyway, I'm excited. I enjoy the music, so I guess that's all that should really matter to me. It's already #1 on iTunes all around the world (and in America), and I expect it will sit atop Bilboard, next week.

I respect your opinion. I personally would never purchase a CD without hearing the whole thing first, I was hoping to like it the first listen, but unfortunately it hasn't happened...yet. I really hope I end up liking the whole CD. I've actually grown to like 'I Love New York' (minus the cheesy dork lyric, cringe), 'Forbidden Love', and 'Like It or Not.'

As a side note: :)
Could you inform me as to what the other two songs were that you liked on Mariah's CD?

I respect your opinion, as well. I believe you will enjoy it, even more, after a few more listens. It took me three listens, before I really got into it (except for the few instantly catchy tracks). "Get Together" ranks as one of my all time favorite tracks from Madonna, ever!

The other two songs I like on Mariah's latest CD are: "Shake It Off", and "Don't Forget About Us". I kind of like "Makin' It Last All Night". Anyway, I am going to download "Don't Forget About Us", and perhaps "Shake It Off", off of iTunes, to put onto my iPod nano.

I can officially say that all but Jump, Isaac, and Push have grown on me. I will not be buying this regular edition of the album, as I hope to recieve enough Christmas money to get the Special Edition, and I don't like to buy two copies of the same CD. :P And I also love Special Editions. They come with cool packaging, bonus tracks, (in some cases) etc. I have the limited editions of Gwen Stefani's solo album and Britney Spears' Greatest Hits CD, and not only do I love the albums, I love the awesome packaging, the bonus disc in the Britney CD, and the CD wallet in the Gwen CD.

As for Mariah's CD, I quite enjoy The Emancipation Of Mimi, but I hope that this wasn't just a fluke and that on her next CD, she goes back to the awful music that permeated Charmbracelet. Emancipation came closer than any album she's released since Butterfly to that classic Mariah style of powerhouse vocals, lack of whispering, and strong material. I hope her next album is just as wonderful. I'd also love to see her go off into a whole new musical direction on her next CD.

Still waiting.............but I found myself downloading "Forbidden Love" + "I Love New York" (I was hoping she actually said "Fuck" since she said "pussies" but w/e) on iTunes, and I noticed they sound as seperate ending tracks, does the CD have them like that??

I found myself signing "I Love New York" in the halls, then switching to "Forbidden Love" when a certain person passed by.

The CD has the songs mixed, from one to the other. So, they are not separated.
