Really?

Looks like compression city then: the BBFC list is about 70mins, the film is about 70 mins too.

Maybe, we're getting a sepearate 2 disc release like they did for Sleeping Beauty and Monsters Inc...

I think that's wishful thinking. I hope it does happen but I fear it won't. I will wait to see if Australia gets a 2 disc, and order that or I will het the French 2 disc!

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN - THE CURSE OF THE BLACK PEARL DVD BONUS - THE LOST DISC - DVD MENUS

So it looks like the UK will be getting this set after all. If they want it out by Xmas, Beuna Vista UK should consider actually telling people.

Being as the original 2 disc set can be picked up for £6-8 at various shops, I can't really see how they can charge an expected £20 for this. Oh well, Sony managed it with Spider-Man Deluxe Edition I suppose (but the price for that dropped like a stone even before release).

Now, I'm not 100% sure about this, but some advance information here in Sweden suggests that the third disc might be sold as a separate product, not as part of a re-release of the feature film. That would make a whole lot of sense. I don't think many people would buy the film again for some additional bonus features, but a moderately priced "upgrade" might be quite successful.

As for the Australian disc, retailers are confidently listing it as a 2 disc:

Actually, I believe the "Behind the Studio" thing is just that crappy Phil Collins and N*Sync music video.

I already have two editions of "Tarzan" (standard and collector's). Disney won't be taking any more money from me, hehehe.

I wonder if we'll be missing Phil's demo tracks? They don't seem to be listed (but perhaps won't be as they are technically audio only). It will be a shame if we do. I'm not a big fan of Mr Colins, but I did enjoy his demo tracks (more than the final songs in some cases).

It's probably worth UK Tarzan owners upgrading to the new SE, as this new release will most likely contain the commentary which was removed from the initial UK release.
