I've been dreading this remake since I first heard about it about a month ago. I can't believe it....

Starsky & Hutch wasn't that bad though but not as funny as I thought it would be.

They should be hung, If the beautiul Late Audrey Meadows was still alive, she would be great as a recasting in her old role. This makes me very mad.

That's what I was thinking. Either way, how dare they pelt Jackie Gleason with spices!

Hi

I deffinately think that even though Dear Audrey Meadows, is no longer with us, her older sister Jayne Meadows should say something about this. After all her sister Audrey, was one of the main stars of the show. This injustice should not go through!

While I don't have any opinion about this particular movie, it seems that all classic tv shows are candidates to be turned into movies. The studios seem to think that audiences are clamouring to see movies based on the TV shows they grew up with. But can anyone tell me the name of a movie based on a tv show that was actually a big hit? I can't think of a single one
(By the way I'm not counting movies that were based on comic strips before they were tv shows such as Superman, Batman or Spiderman. I mean what Original tv show turned movie was actually a hit?

So whats the problem? You all just upset because black characters have taken over the roles? I didn't see this level of outrage for other remakes.

No the cast of black people isn't a problem, the problem is like JiminyCrick91 said! They ruin a classic(and funny) t.v. series with a movie with dirty jokes, cuss words, and horrible music! It's one thing to make a movie like that, but to remake the Honeymooners and make it look that bad! :headshake:

Like Guess Who's Coming to Dinner remake all over again.
It doesn't even look like Honeymooners. It's just another lame comedy movie.

I don't mind reinventions (Bewitched), but this is just sad.

See thats my point. The outrage is because it does not look like the Honeymooners. ie they are black. As long as some white people are remaking Bewtcihed it is Ok though right?
