They really should. While they're at it, Heidi is neither a film nor original. It's a Disney Channel TV movie.

Wonder how long they'll stick to using this header for the new catalogue DVDs.

In any event, I agree. Great news! buffalobill should be pleased.

The National Treasure, Mulan II, Pochahontas, Bambi, Miyazaki Wave 2, The Incredibes, and now this. Disney wants all of our money, and fast!

I'm rejoycing too! That Darn Cat is a title I've been waiting years for, and the announcement of Summer Magic on the same day is another pleasant suprise. I'll be getting both.

Can't say I'm too fond of the covers though. Looks like they tried to make SM look very contemporary, and the cover doesn't really match the tone of the movie well. The film is essentially an ode to small town America, and the tagline "A Season of Romance, Music, and Mystery" seems really out of place. And of course, there's that misspelling.

I have been waiting patiently for Summer Magic and I am so happy it is finally coming out on dvd. It's kind of funny because I just say Summer Magic on tv last weekend.
I am also looking forward to Mulan II, Bambi, The Incredibles and Heidi. (Hope I didn't forget any.)

Have you ever seen the original "Parent Trap" or "Pollyanna"? If you have, that's who Hayley Mills is. :)

The Parent Trap and Pollyanne are Hayley Mills best work.

The Moon-Spinners and was okay since it was a mystery film.
Summer Magic and That Darn Cat were my least favorite ones. :(

I studied that cover art for Summer Magic last night, and the more I studied it the more I don't like it on that pic of Burl, Hayley, and Dorothy McGuire. Miss McGuire looks like she has appendicidas the expression on her face is like she is saing "I feel like I'm gonna belch"

What's with all the Heidi haters? I saw this back in 1993 on the Disney channel and thought it was a very nicely done production. However, Disney has never released it on video in the full 193 minute cut that aired on television. The VHS and laserdisc were cut down to 165 minutes (I have no idea why). So I never bought them. Hopefully the dvd will be uncut.

As for the "Haley" Mills movies, Hooray! I've been waiting for these. Please, please, please be in 16x9 widescreen!
