I've been waiting for over a year for a firm release date for Totoro. Any clues?

Maybe in the fall or next spring since Hayao Miyazaki's Wave 3 might come out.

Fox Sunday lineup:

8:00 The Simpsons
8:30 King of the Hill

Probably fall of this year. It will probably come out in the same wave as Howl's Moving Castle.

Here's my prediction:

Wave 3:
Howl's Moving Castle
My Neighbor Totoro
Whisper of the Heart

Wave 4:
Pom Poko
Only Yesterday
My Neighbor the Yamadas
Best Movies of 2009:
1. Moon
2. Inglorious Basterds
3. The Hurt Locker
4. Coraline
5. Ponyo

Can't wait for a better Totoro to come out. My 12 year old brother in law used to watch Toe-rot (as we call it in our household) when he was little. We do have it on the DVD release that was available earlier though.

Isn't there an edition of Totoro available right now? If so, my question is, is it dubbed? And would the upcoming Special Edition be the same dubbing, or would it be dubbed with a new cast?

The one that is out is from FOX and you can probably get it from WalMart for 5 dollars. The new edition is Disney and will not have the same voice cast, and will have a better transfer.

Thanks, that's exactly what I wanted to know - definitely worth waiting for the Disney version. Cheers .... :D
