The title for the next The Little Mermaid sequel...

Post by Evil Genie Jafar »

No, it is not that they're already doing it. But even tough most of us really hope they don't do it. Anything is possible taking in consideration that Disney did make TLK: 1/2 so recently.

So I was thinking of these could be titles:

First one, the obvious:

LM 3: Life in the Ocean

But then I tought that they could decide to go in a dynamic direction like they did with TLK: 1/2; and these are the options:

LM Zero (the prequel since it has become the norm recently)

LM .5 (as not to reach the 1/2)

LM 1/3 (to make clear is 1 part of the three[/b]

On the other hand, they could go with sidestories; to be even more creative:

TLM: Between the Scales (this way they can tell the stories of all the other characters, or well use the title to help people understand it's going to be between the first and the second movie)

TLM: When Ariel First Tought On Having Wings (we all have tought of being able to fly, so why Ariel didn't? ; besides it wouldn't be predictable)

TLM: The Pregnancy Period (obviously showing what happened the time Ariel got pregnant and how Eric went crazy trying to please her)

or Disney could go in such a way as:

Getting Phsycotic!: The Real Story of Ursula; Femalehood in Crisis

Let's hope we don't have to see another LM movie but thinking we will, these could be one of the titles. What do you think?

How about...

The Little Mermaid -1:
The classic Disney movie's legacy continues minus the characters, songs, story, script, backgrounds or effects. Yep, all we get is an empty DVD box. ;)

If they do make TLM3 or 1/2 I hope we can learn a little about Ariel's mother, and what Ursula meant when she said she used to live in the palace. :?

I'd rather see a prequel, I think, or at least a flashback. Like DV says, I'd love to know the background story with Ursula. Maybe it could take place when Ariel was younger so she could still be in it. Or a 1 1/2 could be fun, a la TLK 1.5, but I still want to know the Ursula story. If only she hadn't been killed off.

My thoughts exactally!!! I'd love to see a story whith Ariel as a little girl! Then we could find out about Ariel's mother, and other secrets we've been dying to know! They could also show how Ariel got so curious about humans to start with! :D

well sure that would be the working title but how about:
"little mermaid 3: return to the land after returning to the sea and realizing it wasnt as much fun as we thought it was which is why we returned to the land in the first place after being bored by the sea"

actually if there was a third it would probably be a spinoff with one of ariels sisters or somthing like that (groan) meaning basically the same story as the first one only this time most likely with a blonde mermaid and the animation is dtv... and a title for a movie like that? how does this sound:
"the littler mermaid"
:P

"Little Mermaid III: Ursula's Revenge, was the greatest film I have seen, it is the best Direct To Video Film of the 21st Century"

Now that would be a funny movie.
