Which Disney movie do you know by memory?

Post by lolopimp »

I've lost count on my viewings of The Lion King, and that's the reason why I know the whole movie by memory!
I know the whole script, all the songs, what's going to happen next and so on. I was wondering myself if I'm insane. I feel like I'm the only loser who knows a whole movie by memory. So I'm wondering if you know a Disney movie by memory? If you do, which one?

I must know pretty much all of Alice in Wonderland and Sleeping Beauty by now. I used to watch these movies all the time. I'm actually surprised how the tapes haven't crackled down a lot.

Pete's Dragon and Bedknobs & Broomsticks... probably Mary Poppins as well. The only animated movie I might be able to claim that with is Sleeping Beauty, though I think I come close with The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast (hey, I know every word to Be Our Guest!) as well. There are a handful of other non-Disney movies (like the Sister Acts, which come close to Disney!) that I know by heart, too.

The Lion King is the one I would say I have best memorized although I may be rusty sinc eI've only seen it once on DVD so far and before that I hadn't touched my VHS copy in a few years. It felt like it hasn't been so long just because I knew 95% of it.

Others would be Tocuhstone's Nightmare Before Christmas and Studio Ghibli's Castle in the Sky.

There are others but they are not Disney related.

I'd say Beauty and the Beast, Mary Poppins, The Jungle Book and Lady and the Tramp. I know them off by heart from watching them as a kid. The Emperor's New Groove and The Hunchback of Notre Dame I know from watching them over the past few years, and I think I am getting there with Home on the Range.

The Lion King and Treasure Planet I know pretty well. Some non-Disney Disney movies I do have memorized include Signs and Bringing Down the House.

I cannot say I know any by heart, but if I was to have to pick 3 closest to knowing by heart, they would be: Atlantis, Mulan, and Hercules.
Best Movies of 2009:
1. Moon
2. Inglorious Basterds
3. The Hurt Locker
4. Coraline
5. Ponyo

I know most Disney movies by heart, word for word, as scary as that sounds. The only ones I can say for sure I don't know that well are the anthologies, which I've only seen maybe two or three times each as opposed to the 50 times I've watched others.

Probably because there isn't as much dialogue as in other animated classics, I've got Sleeping Beauty nearly memorized.

And I most likely could recite Mary Poppins if I ever had the need to.

The others I know like the back of my hand would be:

Cinderella
Peter Pan
Little Mermaid (probably after a couple rewatchings)

Non-Disney movies I could probably say I memorized could be The Sound of Music, The Ten Commandments, and to an extent A Charlie Brown Christmas.

Aladdin, The Lion King, Pocahontas, and Mulan are the ones that I know best by heart.

I used to know all the words to Cinderella and Snow White but as of this moment I only have them on VHS and I haven't watched my Disney tapes in... 6 years.
Wherever. Whatever. Have a nice day.

Well, I know a few, but I can't really name some. When I'm very bored, for some odd reason, my brain starts playing a movie. *shrug* I know it sounds crazy, but I swear it does. o.o;;
Just random little movies, and, most I don't even remember! But it plays the whole thing, part by part. I guess my brain is just so bored.
