Have you ever wanted to be a Disney character?

Post by Lady »

Have you ever wanted to be a Disney character? Which character do you think it would be the most fun to be? Notice this is not necessarily about who you want to look like. Just if you could become an animated character and exist in an animated world, who would you want to be? You may opt to be of the opposite gender or of a different race. Becoming an animal is not an option . . . cause that is just weird.

P.S. I originally was going to make this a poll but there were way too many characters to list and I was bound to omit some favorites.

I used to dream I was Jacques from Cinderella.

Oh wait, I read the rest of the message. Being animals are weird?

Then I guess I'd want to be Aladdin, just so the nickname (Al) can be like it is in real life. And I'd have a pet monkey, how cool is that?

I guess I would love to be Tarzan because he's a man's ape and he rocks.
It would be cool to be raised by apes as parents and to live in a dangers jungle.

Oh, Aladdin get's my choice for who I want to be. Reasons?

1. You'd have a perfect body.

2. You'd have a sexy princess for a girlfriend.

3. You'd have your own personal genie to grant wishes.

4. Your mode of transport is a magic carpet for two.

5. You'd have a pet monkey.

6. You'd live in an Arabian paradise.

'Nuff said!

Probably Aladdin, for reasons pointed out by Wonderlicious and more, though I'd be more interesting in living in a Disney movie rather than becoming one of the characters. Great thread idea!

awallaceunc, you've reminded me of something...

I used to want to go to Wonderland as a kid.

I've never actually wanted to be a Disney character. As much as I like fantasy and animation, I've always been strict with my imagination and never letting it wonder too far from reality. I'm boring like that.

I do really like a bunch of characters, though. I really admired Aladdin as a kid, and now it's kind of odd that now I'm the same age as he is - actually I'm finally older!

Peter Pan!
Or at least Tiger Lily, or a Lost Boy . . . not Jane or Michael or Wendy, though, they had to go home.

Err... then you're eliminating at least 70% of the available choices, if not more! :P

What's so bad about being another animal, might I ask? Is it somehow wrong to acknowledge one's own instincts and bestial side, at least once in a while? I'd wager that'd be a bit unhealthy if you didn't. ;)

"Beast" for me...cause sometimes when I get a bit down I know I get moody and can come across a little like him ( Note: I would never keep a woman locked in my dungeon against her will!)

Oh and I'd have the thrill of kissing Belle all the time...Hmmmmm
