My Secret Santa came from Paka today, and it was packaged with lots of care and love! The personalisation really cheered up what until then had proved to be one of the worst days of the year!

Paka sent a wonderful message and card, a Disney snowglobe (I hope this doesn't result in me picking up a collecting bug) and based on Paka's desktop wallpaper, one of her favorite books! (Because like all intelectuals, she likes the pictures!)
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

You're very welcome for the gifts, Netty! I'm so happy that they managed to cheer you up! ^_^

I hope you enjoy the pretty pictures (;)), and have a great Christmas! :santa:

I received my Secret Santa gift a couple of days ago- a Newsies DVD. I'm assuming the sender wants to remain anonymous, as the forum name wasn't included with the package.

Did everyone get their gifts? Were there any deadbeats?
Cheers,

What a great idea...sorry I missed it as I came back to the forum after Christmas...oh well. I'll have to keep coming back so I can join in the fun next Christmas.

As far as I know, everyone got their presents and all is well. The only way in which there were "deadbeats" is that a few people never bothered to post that they received their gifts. There's probably a couple of people who due to untimeliness and nonresponsiveness probably wouldn't be the best to participate next year, but fortunately no one took advantage of the program to score a free gift this year.

I had a lot of fun overseeing Secret Santa again, and I look forward to running it again the end of this year. I don't know how much larger we should let the number of participants get next time since going beyond 22 people may be difficult to see through and may include people that don't really post too much. We'll re-evaluate the situation next year but hopefully everyone who participated in the program found it an enjoyable experience and would be interested in partaking again this year and those interested but unable to participate will too! :santa:

I got a PM from my Secret Santa. There was supposed to be a card, but I guess it was somehow lost in the mail. Anyways, I can now say that my Secret Santa sender was Rebel. :)
