Back of tins
What should I do with the paper back? Keep it off or reattach it somehow? It seems they used the worst kind of glue possible.

Back label of tin
I have placed my label inside the tin. All of the inserts go into the tin and stored away from general traffic.
I am glad for the offerings in the wave, but am disappointed by the decision to paste the card on in this fashion.... were the other waves' tins screen printed?
Also, I wish the cases were still black, not white, as I see them on my shelf.

I placed my back labels inside the tin. I'm not to happy with the way they did these back labels
- Did anybody else have the security sticker stuck to the back of their cards - all of mine had that stupid security sticker on the back and you can't peel it off with out tearing the card.
As for the white cases - I think they look pretty cool
. I don't keep all my treasures together so it doesn't matter to much to me if they are different colors.

I took it off and put it in the tin, it seems like everyone else. I thought about leaving it on, but I was afraid it would get messed up. Of all the changes, this is the one I dislike the most. I can deal with a white case and no out side band, but this is the worst.
Who's afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?
I agree, this is the worst. I too can get over the white cases and the bands (see another thread) and even the sloppy 'D' in Walt Disney on the font but the back carboard glue-on kind of makes me mad more than anything else.
I'm keeping mine on for now since my Mickey one is staying put but my Pluto one wants to slide off all the time. I'll just put it in the tin and make sure I do so it doesn't meet the same fate as my banners.
Sometimes those security tags really bother me but I have to leave it on since it'll rip and look terrible. I tried taking it off my Scooby-Doo set and that was a disaster. The worst is (this isn't Disney or DVD) when they put security stickers on comic books. I used to buy Simpsons comics at one store back in the day and they would put it on the cover.... augh.
Back to Disney. I'm so disappointed with their presentation and I'll phone,e-mail or write. Whatever it takes to be heard.

I've actually had very good luck getting those security stickers off without any damage to the card. Just use an X-acto knife and be very careful and you can get it off quite easily with no tearing and no residue. Haven't damaged one yet.Oldyeller wrote: Did anybody else have the security sticker stuck to the back of their cards - all of mine had that stupid security sticker on the back and you can't peel it off with out tearing the card.

Thanks Tom - I will try that and if that don't work, I'm thinking of calling Disney and asking for new back Cards.

Could someone explain this to me - I checked my Treasures against the old Treasures and all my D's look fine.Zombi6422 wrote:Why the heck is the D screwed up in the logo? Did they save 1/2 cent by not completing the D?

Oldyeller, I think there was a detailed post about this around the time of the previous wave with pics and all. It might be a metal pressing variation where the D doesnt get its full curvatured resolution gravure. Or sumethin'
After years of collector fondling and caressing the wear and tear will make the tins look like old used ancient coins and when the Apes dig them up they'll wonder about our ancient civillisation and try to descipher if it was a D or a half moon and Charlton Heston will have to set them straight
