By the way, it seems Snow White's appearance at the Oscar was pretty criticized... Now you know why, hehehe!

Thanks, Joe. She looks a little weird there, almost like a taller Betty Boop.

She does look a little like Betty Boop. LOL.
Akward silence... I first thought, wow Snow White has put on a few pounds. Then, after a good look, she reminded my of Betty Boop in Cinderella's gown. That's one weird pic. In a good way.... :)

More tin

Post by Owlzindabarn »

There's all kinds of Treasures ideas. I like the Fantasyland idea. We'll probably see one, to go along with our Tomorrowland tin, but who knows what the contents will be. We should also see Frontierland and Adventureland boxes at some point.

However, the Treasures is definitely a finite series. I expect about 4-5 more waves and that will be it. They'll have exhausted the vaults!

Expect 1 or 2 more BW Mickeys,
2 or so more Silly Symphonies
3 or so more Donalds
Possibly one more animated short tin, for "everything else."
But then what? What else is there to put out?

I found two pictures of her at the Academy Awards (actually, they are the cels they used):
Ding-ding-ding! :D That's it! Thanks for the picture Joe Carioca! She looks like she's wearing a combination of Belle and Cinderella's dress. On tv though, it looked white. Then again, Cinderella's dress on our old vhs looks white when it is usually advertised and shown as blue.

I've read (maybe on here?) that it's officially silver, but often marketed as blue now (Cinderella's, that is).

Snow White extras must include fully animated Soup sequence!

Post by Deco King »

The Snow White extras should in my humble opinion include a FULLY animated version of Music In Your Soup sequence. They should by the time that the Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs- Evil -Stepmother- of -all -Special Editions comes out, be a better remastering technique than the original Platinum Edition, after all look at the new Warner Bros Gone With The Wind what they are able to do with modern remastering techniques just amazes me! We're very lucky to be able to have many of the better "classic" older movieson the DVD format looking better than it did originally!
