has anyone gone to disney store for treasures?

Post by humphreybear »

I was going to go later today, but thought I'd check before I made the trip - I was a little curious if they'd have it since the children's place bought the disney stores. Anyone been there?

Thanks.

No, but I wouldn't go there to buy them anyways. Wal-Mart is probably the cheapest place to get them...unless you live in Canada then Superstore may have them since they had the last wave here.

I actually remember when I was buying my last wave, I got a 2 of them at the Disney store, and it wasn't overpriced there. 24.99 I think I paid.

Sam's Club has them for $20.88, which is the cheapest I've seen them. My Wal-Mart didn't even have them this morning.

Check walmart if you need some of the older tins also. The one I went to had all the new releases along with the following older tins:
Disneyland USA
Behind the Scenes at the Disney Studio
MickeyMouse in living color volume 2
Chronological Donald volume 1
On the Front Lines
Tomorrowland

I have ordered Mickey Mouse Club & Complete Pluto from playusa.com since I live in Finland. Hope to get them soon. Wonder why MM in Black and White wasn't available there...?

It was earlier this year. They must have sold out of their allocated stock.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

Hi, Thanks for the replys. They did have them at the disney store. They were 24.99, but I get a 10% dvc discount, so it wasn't too bad. Looks like I could have saved some money at sam's, but I kind of like buying them at the disney store, plus I sort of wanted to see what the store was like after disney sold them. Seemed like the same old same old.

I've gotten all my Treasures at the Disney Store. Short of ordering via mail order, I find their prices to be competitive and I don't have to wait for them to be shipped.

$21.89 at COSTCO. That's the cheapest here in Puerto Rico.

Sam's Club has reduced the price to $20.27. Got my Pluto tin this morning.

Purchased Treasure at Disney Store

Post by Mouseketodd »

I bought Mickey Mouse Club at Disney Store, since I work close to one. I'm not a member of Sam's Club. In the past, DS and Walmart have had comparable prices. Ultimate Disney posted Best Buy's price as $24.99.

I've purchased all of mine from DS, except for first (Disney online) and a used Mickey Mouse Color Vol. 1 off of Half.com.
My handmade paperweights, including Disney subjects -- some contain viewable movie cells!
