I like the look of the new page a lot, but I suggest that you do the page layout with CSS. It's so much easier than tables, and it will also be easier to transfer your existing pages into the new layout. Tables for design are going the way of the dodo. If you want your pages to be future comaptible, do it with CSS, and not tables. You will have to make that move eventually, best to do it now. I have a few links to get you started.

Loomis, actually the Pan & Scan DVDs to Avoid list has been around; it just wasn't linked to from the main page - only when you click the thumbs down icon. I fear that some might use the list as a DVDs to Get thing - and one day's associate reports kind of confirmed that. But I think it's useful too. I'm very glad you're finding new things that have been around for a while. Makes me think the site re-design was long in order.

Joshua, It does use CSS for the styles only. I'll take your advice into consideration. For now, I'm happy with the way it's running...when it is running that is.

I've just bought a month with a new webhost - we'll all see how that goes and if it goes well, we'll be there for a while.

Thanks for the feedback. Interesting that the banner gets cut off. I suppose because there isn't an overabudance of content in the center right now.

I do like that idea (Support the site link).
Just so you know, I'd be inclined to use a BestBuy affiliate link if you had one. We have a Reward Zone card so I'll be making most of my purchases there...it'd be a no-brainer for me (an possibly others) to order thru your affiliate link and then arrange an in-store pickup.

BestBuy just approved us this time - and the link now appears in the <a href="http://www.ultimatedisney.com/support.html">"Support the Site" section</a>, FYI.

The site looks like every other website out of the face of the web. I really am not too fond of it, but I'm not saying that I can do better. I think you should stick with something basic, and definately take off those green scroll bars!

On the contrary, I don't know any javascript codes. It's all a template - edited to put in my stuff.

"Nice and basic" takes up too much bandwidth, too.

It was about 4x as big - all the clunky text, and graphics. Plus it wasn't very easy to navigate.

because the text is still there. and I don't know what images you're talking about. If you were pertaining to the rollover ones, it shouldn't take up that much bandwidth.

I mean, it's a basic javascript code...

but you're running the site, and know more than me,..

anyways... that was just my two cents..the the scrollbars still get me each time... Also, Luke, is there anyway you can make it so that scrollbars going left to right are not needed? I dunno, it seems odd...

There shouldn't be scrollbars left to right unless you're on like 640x480 resolution, I think?
