No pop-ups on this forum. Never have been.

Something else must be installed on your system.

Download Lavasoft's Ad-Aware here:
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/

It will scan your computer and find spyware and other kind of junk.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of pop-ups were you getting?

Well I use Analogx's POW program to get rid of pop-ups. It gets rid of most. For a free program, I'm satisfied. I'm sure there are better ones if you're willing to pay.

Pop-ups suck infinitely.

I was getting the popups on the message board as well. I like the bolder colors here on the board!

Assuming you're talking about here (and not Condom Central), I'd definitely scan your computer for scumware/spyware. You should NOT be getting pop-ups here.

As for the colors, well, this is the default subsilver style (which we had for a few days at Netfirms I think), but I do believe when all settles, we'll be going back to Appalachia. But you'll have the option to use this style as you did at the other board (though I don't think anyone has chosen this one).

Thanks Luke, I did as you suggested, downloaded that software and ran it. I had 332 files found that were doing this adware business. Sheesh!
