Mulan Special Edition Wound Scene Edited?

Post by darktruth »

I was re-watching Mulan from the 2-Disc Special Edition and when the scene where Shang is rescued by Mulan from the mountains and then he thanks her and discovers her wound, it seemed like it was edited that her red blood was removed off from the original release. Is it me or is it seem like the DVD was edited for that particular scene? Can anyone confirm from the original DVD release that if there was a red blood seen during that scene or not.

If there was red blood and was removed off then I would understand it anyway since Disney intends to keep it to the family entertainment, it's just that I thought I remembered there was blood during that scene.

I remember there being blood on her hand (and on her side) during this scene when I saw the Gold Collection DVD at my friend's house.
Wherever. Whatever. Have a nice day.

Well, I checked the DVD again (special edition) and the scene was there as it has always been (blood and all).

Do you live in the US? Because if you do not there is a chance that an international release may have been edited!
