Nobody knows for sure, but the Donald Duck Volume 2 tin will most likely be released in the next wave, if the pattern of releasing their cartoon shorts in the past is any indication (releasing volume 1, skipping a year, releasing volume 2 - they've done that with both Mickey Mouse cartoon compilations).

True-Life Adventures, the nature documentaries that were part of the Disneyland TV show, will almost certainly be released as part of the Treasures line at some point. That could be in the next wave, or not.

I am sure they are mapped out way into the future but nobody will release the contents.

For example, Jerry Beck says they Looney Toons Golden Collection has been mapped out from Volumes 3-10 already(it would take 17 volumes to release every Looney Toon and Merry Melody. He cant say what the contents will be though because he has signed a non disclosure agreement.

True Life Adventures was NOT a part of the Disneyland TVshow.
They were produced for cinema and each on its own basis - but they were later shown at the TV-series.

Someone said that the Disney silent films were also in consideration for a Ttreasures release. That and they have plenty more silly Symphonies to realease since so far they have only one volume dedicated to them. Theres also Zorro and more Mickey Mouse Club as well.

Actually, I believe there are some longer ones that went to theatres as features and then some shorts that aired on TV only. So you are both right. According to Leonard Maltin's book anyway.

Disney made 6 full length True-life features

- the living desert
- the African lion
- secrets of life
- white wilderness
- jungle cat
- the vanishing prairie

and 7 true-life shorts

- On Seal Island
- In Beaver Valley
- Nature's Half Acre
- Olympic Elk
- Water Birds
- Bear Country
- Prowlers Of the Everglades

and a true-life fantasy called : Perri

The Best Of Walt Disney's True-Life Adventures was released theatrically in 1976, and contained footage not found in the other films. It was only released to VHS in Britain.

my guess : the treasure set contains the 7 shorts and some extra stuff. I don't think the full legth features will be on that one.

Was Perri a short or a feature? Also, was the Best of Walt Disney's True Life Adventures short-length or feature-length?

You could be right for all I know, but what I've heard about this so far is basically wishful thinking.

More specifically, the first (and so far only) Silly Symphony volume included about half of the series, so the number of remaining shorts would be just right for one more volume.

No, the short subjects were also produced for the cinema as productions shown before a major feature (as they did with all the cartoons in the past). I was only talking about the short subjects in my post above, since I don´t believe that the feature-lenght films will show up on a Treasure tin.

Much, much later, in 2000, they produced a series of New True Life Adventures for TV, but they are not considered here at all.

Perri is a feature film (75 min)

The Best of Walt Disney´s True Life Adventures is also feature-lenght (89 min). It was a compilation of scenes from the earlier films + some new narration.

In terms of a new treasure set, I would most like to see the silent Alice In Wonderland Series. :D

I would like to see the Peopla and Places series released, also even though I am not really bothered, I think it would be plausible for some of the miniseries to be released such as Elfego Baca and Texas John Slaughter etc.
