I caved in and bought the SE version of Mulan today. I watched Mandarin track version and the English version with audio commentary.

Very good stuff (some parts of the commentary were hilarious--like the "dagger" part).
Wherever. Whatever. Have a nice day.

I just got Mulan from my sister as a birthday present and I also bought Aladdin for me in the same time so those are the last ones I have watched.
I'm waiting to get Emperor's New Groove, The Rescuers and Sword in Stone DVDs from my mom as birthday presents so I think those will be next movies I watch. :)

It wasn't a movie per se, but I watched the Holiday with Timon and Pumbaa DVD this morning. It isn't quite the same as having a season/box set of something, but it is still pretty good.

It runs for about an hour, and there are two more coming out in February.

This is probably a good option in the end, as "season" sets would just be ginormous.

We had a movie night last night and watched:

"Old Yeller"

"The Parent Trap" the original one with Haley Mills, it is so much better than the new one, although I do like it, I just prefer originals over remakes.

"Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day"

It was fun and the popcorn was great as usual.

*ahem* My friends and I just came back from watching The Incredibles, and it was pretty darn incredible. I did think the beginning was a bit slow (the establishing of their mudane lives as "average" people), but I suppose it was necessary.

When the pace did quicken, however... what fun! We were just enjoying ourselves and cackling like hyenas in the theatre while watching this film. I can't wait for the DVD! ):

An aside: Mirage's character design is absolutely gorgeous; I was practically watching the film just hoping that I'd get to catch a gimpse of her again.
Wherever. Whatever. Have a nice day.

I've been currently on holidays for the last week or so, but the last movie I watched on DVD before I left was Pocahontas (Theatrical release version)

When I get back, I'll watch the extended version.

Pocahontas (Love John Smith :D )
John: Pocahontas, look at me. I'd rather die tomorrow, than live a hundred years without knowing you.
Pocahontas: I can't leave you.
John: You never will. No matter what happens to me, I'll always be with you...forever.

I saw National Treasure last night (making 2 consecutive days of theatrical Disney for me) and loved it! It was very Da Vinci Code-esque, but in many ways (though not all), an improvement upon it, and it managed to be different enough to work.

I was just watching the 1998 remake of "The Parent Trap." A bright, warm Disney remake that is different enough to stand on its own, and is enormously funny - Lindsay Lohan in her pre-hotness stage is just fun to watch as the identical twins Hallie and Annie. 8)
