Kram Nebuer wrote:Anyhow, I was searching on IMDB for Mulan because I thought the voice of Grandma Fa (June Foray) sounded a lot like Granny on Looney Tunes and I was right! But I kept scrolling and I learned that she not only did Granny but also a slew of other animated characters. :o I was pleasantly surprised to see that she was also:

~Witch Hazel ("Trick or Treat" Donald short and in various Looney Tunes shorts)
~Lucifer (Cinderella)
~Mermaid and Squaw ("Squaw get'm firewood!" from Peter Pan)
~Mrs. Featherby/Ma Beagle/Magica De Spell (Ducktales)
~Grammi (Gummi Bears)
If you're any kind of fan of June's work, you might also like to know that her autobiography has just been published:

I missed my chance to finally meet June in person at this summer's San Diego Comic-Con: they did a whole panel as a tribute to her. I'd been to the con 4 years running, but alas -- I sacrificed my trip this year in order to save money to by my girlfriend an engagement ring. But it was worth it -- we got engaged in September.

I have so many favorite Disney voices that it'd take too much time to list them all, but off the top of my head...

Gilbert Gottfried -- Iago
Candy Candido -- Indian Chief (Peter Pan), Crocodile Herald (Robin Hood)
Sir Peter Ustinov -- Prince John (Robin Hood)
Sterling Holloway -- Pooh, Kaa, Cheshire Cat
Dan Castellaneta -- Megavolt (Darkwing Duck)
Hans Conried -- Cap'n Hook
Bill Thompson -- Smee
Jodi Benson -- Ariel
Ed Wynn and Jerry Colonna -- Mad Hatter and The March Hare (respectively)
Ralph Wright (and Peter Cullen) -- Eeyore
John Fiedler -- Piglet
Tony Jay -- Frollo
Samuel E. Wright -- Sebastian
Pat Carroll -- Ursula
Buddy Hackett -- Scuttle
Bob Newhart -- Bernard (Rescuers)
Pat Buttram -- Sheriff of Nottingham
Jim Cummings -- Darkwing Duck and too many others to list
Brad Garrett -- Dim (A Bug's Life), Bloat (Finding Nemo and several other Disney productions)
Clarence Nash -- Donald Duck (and Tony Anselmo does a great job too)
Patrick Warburton -- Krunk
Corey Burton -- narrator in many Goofy shorts and the voice of Moliere (Atlantis)
Paul Winchell -- Tigger

I'm not one usually to plug something I'm affiliated with because I've always thought it was tacky when people do that, but this one I feel is very relevant for this thread.

I wanted to invite you Disney voice actor fans to "The Voice Actor Appreciation Group" I host -- we've got nearly 400 fans (and quite a few professional VAs as members whose names some of you might recognize) and most any discussion related to voice acting for animation is welcome. We also have many candid photos of voice actors whose names some of you mentioned here as your favorites: Jim Cummings, Corey Burton, and Bill Farmer (Goofy) just to name a few. The link to the group is below:

Definately Jim Cummings!! The guy is so extremely versatile. From Winnie the Pooh to Darkwing Duck. This guy is like another Mel Blanc :)
