Donnie Dunagan (voice of young Bambi) signing autographs

Post by Lermontov »

Seasoned Disney autograph collectors may already be aware of this one, but in case anyone is interested, Donnie Dunagan, who provided the voice for the pre-adolescent Bambi in 1942, is currently signing copies of a special issue of Video Watchdog magazine, in which he is interviewed by Tom Weaver.

You have until the end of November to order a copy via:

Donnie was only 7 when he voiced the young deer, but he was already a veteran of Universal horror films like 'Son of Frankenstein' and 'Tower of London'. The magazine article will no doubt focus on the horror angle, but I only just ordered my copy, so I don't know how much coverage Bambi gets.

They claim that these are the first autographs Donnie has signed in 60 years!

Bambi looks cooler at age 70 than I would have imagined. Thanks for sharing!

Cool, had it been a signed Bambi PE I would have gotten it, but the magazine would end up in the recycling bin. Thanks for the heads up, and lets hope he does this w/ the dvd.
