I am ! Does that mean I need to spend $70 USD to buy the $40 Special Edition Two-Disc DVD Collector's Gift Set and $30 2-Disc DVD w/ Bonus Lithos, Mini Plush & Pin?? I'll have two Platinum Edition DVDs if I buy both.

That's expensive.

Hmm, sleeping beauty dancing with the forest animals looks interesting and a little cute. I like the new litho better too: it's bright and colorful. :D

The only reason I wasn't thrilled wuth the old one was I would much rather have gotten one with her dancing with Phillip. But I still like it. I'll be sure to try and get it this time (I say that about every Disney Store preorder and never manage to get them :().

When my Disney Store opens I think I'll ask them if I can preorder the gift set with the lithos/plush/pin combo in-store. I bet they'll say yes.

I hope they say yes. I really want to save $20 by not buying both the boxed gift set and the other bonuses. Let us know what the salespersons says.

I'm guessing that we can preorder Sleeping Beauty either next month or in June?

Thanks Jake

I'll let you all know, but I won't ask for a while because when I asked about Beauty and the Beast preorders last year they said they were starting around August. So, I'll wait a while. If they say no, I'll just forget about the bonuses and go for the gift box.

I'm guessing Sleeping Beauty preorders will start in July. But actulally, it's whatever date is given in the press release (Lord of the Rings prebook was regulated to begin on May 9, for example, per studio rules.)

We can pre-order ''The Jungle Book 2'' DVD and recieve a free lithograph.

http://disney.store.go.com/DSSectionPag ... _Id=133186

I'm hoping that Disney will let us preorder Sleeping Beauty and The Lion King after June 9, the release date of The Jungle Book 2.

"Pre-order by June 9, 2003, and receive our exclusive Bonus Lithograph in a collectible portfolio. Offer expires June 9, 2003, or while supplies last. Available to own June 10, 2003"

The Jungle BOok 2's lithograph looks pretty decent. :D

Now that Treasure Planet is out, do you know if we can pre-order the Jungle Book 2 from a local Disney Store now? Just wondering.

When i went to pick up my treasure planet at my local disney store, the worker asked me if i wanted to pre-order jungle book 2. But since i've yet to see it, i'll pass on the pre-order... So, yes, it is available for pre-order now :)
Inigo: I do not mean to pry, but you don't by any chance happen to have six fingers on your right hand?
Westley: Do you always begin conversations this way?

Inigo: You seem a decent fellow. I hate to kill you.
Westley: You seem a decent fellow. I hate to die.

Ok, thanks Cinderelly.

I'll see if I can save some extra money to buy it. Like most people, I'm wondering when the stores will take pre-orders of Sleeping Beauty and The Lion King. I guess the stores will take pre-orders after June 10. Someone said August. :?:

Yeah, the doll looks bad. Her hair looks really messy. Everything else looks ok.

I'm gussing that a portfolio is some kind of case? I'm guessing that the lithograph will be in this case then? Cool.

I found out that the Disney portfolios are envelopes. Cool.

The disneystore.com has updated their pre-order pages for Sleeping Beauty and The Lion King. The graphics aren't that bad.

Both pages have a fairly long list of DVD Special Features.

The Lion King

The Lion King Disneystore.com site has a picture of a Dodge Caravan :)

Free shipping

Post by Starion »

Some body mention free shipping. I found this text in the latest Disney Catalog:
Free Shipping & Handling is for Standard Delivery only on any order (excluding tax, shipping & handling charges and gift boxes) sent to a single shipment address. Offer applies to phone and mail orders from [The Disney Catalog] only. Offer expires August 31, 2003.
The 2-Disc DVD Set with Bonus Lithographs Mini Plush & Pin are available only through the catalog and online store. Looks like my brother will need to send in a check for moi. Thanks to everyone for helping me out with. :)
